Miles Ambridge is sitting in his wheelchair, placed off to the side of his 22 classmates, smiling wide and leaning in as he tries to get closer to his second-grade peers.
The Canadian elementary school photo has since gone viral, drawing condemnation from Internet users and the boy’s parents, Anne Belanger and Don Ambridge.
“This is setting precedents for not only Miles, but for other kids and individuals with disabilities,” Belanger told The Province. “We are all humans. We should work toward acceptance.”
The image appeared last week on the front page of the British Columbia newspaper. The school is in New Westminster, a city outside Vancouver.
“I’m not on a warpath,” Belanger told the newspaper. “I just want to bring awareness that this was not acceptable.”

けんか（war）の方向（path）だからけんか腰なのでしょうか。
