昨年は異常気象によって、気温が今までで2番目に高かったという記録になったようです。

"blip"を取り上げます。以前も取り上げられていましたが、『ジーニアス英和辞典』によると「一時的下落, 一時的な問題」とありました。LDOCEで定義を確認すると"a short pause or change in a process or activity, especially when the situation gets worse for a while before it improves again"とありました。
他にも「ブリップ」というレーダー上の輝点という意味と「ピッという音」という放送禁止用語を流す時などに使われる音という意味もあります。
今後、エルニーニョ現象は弱まり、夏までには平常の状態になる可能性が高いとのことです。(lua)
