sniffer dog 復習

Chiba police ramp up security for Ariana Grande shows

Ariana Grande's trio of sold-out live concerts near Tokyo will boast a full-scale police presence after the singer's concert in Manchester, England, was targeted by a deadly terrorist attack in May.

Riot police, sniffer dogs, a bomb disposal unit and a special squad armed with submachine guns will be ready to spring into action at Makuhari Messe convention center.

Grande, 24, is scheduled to perform Aug. 10, 12 and 13 at the center as part of her world tour, and about 66,000 people in total are expected to attend the three shows.

It is very rare for Japanese police to provide security for concerts, but Chiba prefectural police have decided to pull out all the stops and take no chances.

LDOCEには “a dog that has been trained to find drugs or explosives by using its sense of smell” と定義されています。

記事の後半では “Police dogs trained to sniff out explosives” と言い換えられていました。 (aqua
