bedeckに注目しました。文中ではflower-bedeckedの形で用いられております。『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版，大修館）を引いたところ、be~edで 「〈人・物が〉[宝石・花などで]（ごてごてと）飾られる[with, in]」と載っておりました。Oxford Dictionary of English (2th) には、“to decorate sth/sb with flowers, flags, precious stones, etc.””と定義されております。
語源についてインターネットで調べたところ、接頭辞のbe-とdeckが合体した単語とのことです。ちなみに接頭辞be-には様々な意味がありますが、上記英和辞典によると、bedeckのbeは「全面的に，すかり」などだそうです。deckは「飾られている」の意味です。（Gomez）
