This hand-kneaded green tea has been created by young artisans in the tea plantations of Sashima area in Ibaraki Prefecture, where tea has been cultivated since the Edo period (1603-1867).

気になった語は uncurl / `ʌnkˈɚːl / です。「巻き髪」などで身近なcurlですが, 本文では茶葉の状態を指してun + curl となっています。『リーダーズ英和中辞典』(研究社)で確認したところ, 第一に「<毛髪などを>まっすぐにする」とありました。ここから, 「伸びる, まっすぐになる」の意を示します。続いてMerriam-Webster.comによると “to straighten the curls of” と定義され, 同義語にはunrollが挙げられていました。
