About yesterday’s workshop

There was a lecture in Tochigi prefecture yesterday. I would like to share with you what I felt.

First, a way of presentation. I watched how Dr. Tanabe gave a presentation to junior high school students. I have seen a lot of presentations Dr. Tanabe has delivered. But all presentations have been given for adults, so it was a first time for me to see it for young learners. Dr. Tanabe seemed to change the way of his presentation. I learned how important to change a method of presentations in accordance with the audience.

Second, my experience. I was given a chance to tell the joy of using dictionaries. I really did not want to do that. To be honest, I hate to speak in public even if a number of attendants are small. Having said so, I will have to go through that from now on. I should be able to deal with that.

This lecture inspired me not only to learn English but improve my presentation skills.(rain)
