英語リスニング向上を目的に，NHK入門ビジネス英語をディクテーションする．

ディクテーション

Today's dialogue is accepting an invitation to a barbecue party, Part1.

Jake Eastbrook invites Hiro to a barbecue party.

Jake:
Hiro, we are having a few friends over next Sunday for a barbecue.
And we'd like to invite you to join us.

Hiro:
Thank you very much, Jake.
I'd be happy to come.
I've heard about barbecue, but I've never been to one.

Jake:
Great.
We'll kick back, relax, have a few brews,
and take our minds off this sticky heat and humidity.

Hiro:
It really sounds like fun.

Who else is coming?

Jake:
Just a few long time friends.

A couple of them are baseball guys like you and me.

So we'll have a lot to talk about.

Hiro:
What should I bring?

Jake:
Nothing, just yourself.

Well, on second thought,
how about bringing six packs of Japanese beer.

Hiro:
It's a done deal.

What should I wear?

Jake:
Oh, be totally comfortable.
You know, shorts and a casual shirt.
