We have just started 3rd UNI-LCJ Youth seminar.
I'd like to know about our today's program.

Session 1
" What is UNI Global Union?"

"UNI LCJ action plan toward Nagasaki 2010 and UNI LCJ youth"

"Learning about some union youth activities"

I'd like to tell you something about keypoints that we thought it was important.

Session 1
We learned UNI global union’s specific activities.
For example compose for stopping Wal-martization and human assistance.

Group work 1
We talked about union individually to know each other.
And we came to know each union’s activities.

Session 2, We learned that there are two important things.
First thing is that we want to organize one million UNI LCJ memberships by 2010.
Second is, UNI LCJ youth will link youth activities with global trade union movements,
Imagine ourselves in 2010 and act.
Moreover we will have broader view through the corporation with UNI Apro and UNI Youth network.

Session3
Jim talked about mysterious Japan from American point of view.
For example he thought woman-only train cars are strange.
Some agreed with Jim but some don’t agree with him.
From Japanese point of view we had various opinions.

Session4
We learned about the UNI PLC Youth in Action.
We the standard of living between the Philippines and Japan is different.
Union activities are also different.
In Japan unions focus more on further improving the standard of living for workers.
In contrast, in the Philippines the youth committee helps in changing the lives of others.
For example, feeding poor children, spending a day with several street children, and so on.

session 5, We listended to three speakers from Zenusei,NWJ and JPU.
Youth comittees of Japanese Unions have various labor activities, too.
Such as, youth rally, peace activities & organiging part-time workers.
