Ok time to talk, <grin> 1) The Merry Christmas in the old "subject" was a simple "Merry Christmas!", not meaning I was announcing a gift as someone understood, apparently it was my fault to think that the first picture I posted was funny, and I added a "Merry Christmas!" just for the days. Best Wishes anyway now to anybody. 2) So that's how and why I started the thread, I'm indeed working on a 128 Taps delay, something quite advanced IMHO which can do interesting reverbs and special effects as well. 3) The maximum delay time is not an issue, so far it's 95 seconds but I can build one with 3 hours if you like, the only changes is the RAM it would eat. 4) The difference between my "Prima Delay" and the other multitaps is ability to use a huge number of taps (delay points), up to 128, to produce "cascade" echoes when longer times are used, or very cool phasing effects when shorter times are used. Moreover, thanks to the filters and the LFO, unique reverbs and chorus can be achieved. Last but not least you can move all taps with a single parameter. At first I thought that Prima Delay could have been the first to have 128 taps, but a friend of mine pointed out that in the GRM Tools plugins there is also a 128 taps delay, so I cheked it and I must say that fortunately it is VERY different. 5) The GUI is shown above and also an "extreme not so extreme" mp3 Demo, more stuff will come. The Widows VST is 99% done and the AU porting has started. 6) The price is not set yet, perhaps I will launch it with Group Buy (?) Let's go back in time. Way back! Back before VST's was a standard part of any studio. Back to the time when the normal PC counted it's cpu speed in low Mhz numbers. Back to the time when a normal PC costed around €3000 if not more. Back to the time when the only sound the PC could emit was the tiny beeps from the internal PC speaker. Yes we're back in 1989 people. It is here I'm gonna unleash my new music tool to you.

JBM 61h is a PC speaker emulator. It emulates the way the PC speaker had to be programmed to emit complicated sounds:

This demo shows how this plugin sounds like. To program complex sounds you had to alter between two frequencies with the PC speaker giving the illusion of real sounds. You had no volume control what so ever to work with. You could program simple vibrato's and arpeggio's. And that was about what you could do.

Here is the controls:
Main:
GL controls the glide time
Altered frequency parameters:
O controls the offset between the two different frequencies ADSRL controls the altered pitch's envelope where L controls the level.
LFO:
DL controls the delay SW controls the sweap RT controls the rate DP controls the depth

Hi guys,

Here's a small vinyl noise emulation plug i wrote with synthedit, it came out almost accidently and i thought it a good idea to develop it into a normal synth on its own.

Its not an effect, so you can't process audio with it but it sounds sweet.

I hope you truly like it.

Or, i truly hope you like it http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_hihi.gif
