あと１０カ月！ Another 10 months!

こんにちは。

お元気ですか？

こちらは新学期が始まり、授業も始りやっと日常に戻ったなあという思いです。

実は新学期ははじまったばかりですが、新４年生の生徒の卒業試験（国家試験）
はなんと１０月です！
この試験により彼らが卒業資格をもらえるかどうかが決まるだけでなく、高校に
進学できるか否かも決定します。

この学年は、去年の２月赴任時からずっと受け持っており、意欲的な子も
割と多かったのもあって補講も度々やったりと愛着もひとしおの学年です。

ある１人の生徒が新学期始って早々の日に、

「先生、今学期は何のトピックを教えてくれるんだ？国家試験に通りたいから
　もっともっと教えて！」

と言いに聞きました。

気合をまた新たにさせてくれました。
あと１０カ月、ほんと頑張らねばなりません。

今は彼らや他の学年に渡した冬休みの宿題（南半球なので夏休みですが）の採点で
おわれております。

色々探しましたが、タンザニアには国家試験に対応した問題集（勉強教材）がないです。

というわけで自分で作って印刷し、休み前に生徒に配布しました。

チャ○ト式をイメージしましたが、全くそんな風にはなりませんでした…。
しかし教えたトピックに関しては国家試験レベルまで対応し、それに似せて
作ったつもりです！

というわけで、Q＆Aの続編はいつ書くんだ、という感じですが、今回は採点作業に
戻らせていただきます。すみません！！

Hello, how are you?

I'm doing well.

I think I come back to my daily life at last since here a new semister has began
and also I deliver lessons every day.

Guess what, it's this coming October when new 4th- year students will have to
take the graduation examination, national examination, which decide whther a student
can go to a higher education.

It's soon!

I feel a strong attachment to them because I have been in charge of mathematics
education for them since I came to this school last February and I delivered
somewhat lots of supplement classes also from the requests of motivated students.

On the first day of the new semister this week, one of them came to me to say,

"Teacher, what topic will you teach this term? Please teach us more hard because
I want to pass the national examination!""

That saying motivated me so much.
I have to do my best really for another 10 months.

Now I am busy marking students' work to the holiday homework.

There is no studying material in Tanzania wchich is appropriate for
preparing the national exam though I looked for kinds of it.

So I made it by myself, printed and passed it to students before
the holiday.

All the topics should been included in it which I had taught to them and
I think I made good questions which help the students get used to solve
questions of national exam.
