excellent sustainability of the build
"My experience has been completely opposite. Many warlocks have leveled as affliction locks due to the excellent sustainability of the build. I leveled as Demo till around 40, then switched to Dest.We are used to making snap decisions about DoTs on the fly and we enjoy the versatility warlocks have with respect to killing stuff: fear-kiting, drain-tanking and so on. I liked Dest a lot but then I found myself often farming in the mid-50's to lvl 60 and I *hated* it.Hence it is understandable if some affliction players complain that the destro playstyle is "boring" or a "no-brainer" - since the active interaction with what's happening on screen is cut down significantly. Damage was great, but downtime sucked, I often overkilled stuff/wasted mana, and all the drinking was eating into my wallet as well. Blizzard also seems to want most of us to become shadow bolt spammers in the end, as Warlock tier 6 gear favors shadow bolting locks. So I tried the Afflic spec to make my DoTs more powerful and mana gaining abilities available/more viable."Why is Blizzard not making gear tailored to our favorite build. All of a sudden farming was great fun! Completely different play style, for sure. I had planned on switching back sometime, for raiding and such, but just never did." is the question asked by many affliction warlocks. To my surprise I found myself still usually out-damaging everyone in dungeons. It is however interesting to note that on the WWS Scoreboard, a neat ranking chart based on raid data pulled from WoW Web Stats, just 10 of 15 top Warlock DPSers are 0/21/40. world of warcraft buy gold Plus it's really valuable to be able to heal myself so well.Out of the five who aren't destro locks, two are demonology, one is affliction and two have hybrid demo/destro builds - building for Soul Link probably.
So I kept the spec. I had planned on switching back sometime, for raiding and such, but just never did. At the point I'm at now, my DoTs are overkill for even-con mobs so I still waste mana unless fighting elites, but DoTs are cheap, and I can get mana back easily. To my surprise I found myself still usually out-damaging everyone in dungeons. gold kaufen wow I may do slightly less damage than a Destlock, but it's not significant.Plus it's really valuable to be able to heal myself so well. What is significant is how flexible I am now.So I kept the spec. Fear-kiting is powerful too, and much easier with good DoTs.At the point I'm at now, my DoTs are overkill for even-con mobs so I still waste mana unless fighting elites, but DoTs are cheap, and I can get mana back easily. wow gold My guild had a tough time in Magister's Terrace, but I joined and fear-cc'd plus fear-kite and we waltzed through the place (fear only gets adds with inexperienced players).I may do slightly less damage than a Destlock, but it's not significant. The only complaint I have with the spec is that my DPS starts slowly, then builds to a frenzy. What is significant is how flexible I am now. It would be nice if I had a spell that applied all my DoTs at once, because even though most are instant, there's still the global cooldown between each cast. I know that its pretty much considered a taboo due to SB having higher spell damage coefficients and ISB > all and all that jazz, but with the addition of haste in a lot of gear and the new emberstorm buff makes a firey 0/21/40 spec viable these days.Fear-kiting is powerful too, and much easier with good DoTs.
buying gold world of warcraft I've used this spec since before 2.4 and imo I don't think it makes much difference between the 20% extra shadow damage proc (which could well just disappear before you can strike again since anyone and their dear aunt sally can use up the charges), and the 10% flat rate of Emberstorm. My guild had a tough time in Magister's Terrace, but I joined and fear-cc'd plus fear-kite and we waltzed through the place (fear only gets adds with inexperienced players). Just my 2 cents mind..."world of warcraft gold .The only complaint I have with the spec is that my DPS starts slowly, then builds to a frenzy. mana pool (Dark Pact)
"I've seen the samples placed here and on the official WoW site. I've recently respecced back to an affliction spec (40/0/21) just to revisit the good ol' days of mobility (instant DoTs) and an "unending" mana pool (Dark Pact). I am looking for a specific methodology as to how to makes this calculation. Here's a scenerio for you: I am a level 70 warrior.I know we tend to look back on the past with rose-colored glasses, and true enough, my experience with affliction again was ... I want to harvest motes against a lvl 67-69 fire elementals.less than satisfying. I want to decrease fire damage done against me. Question 1: On the first resistance roll, how do the levels of the warrior verses the monster interact with each other. Why the difference. In this example, let's say it is a 67 elemental v. Phenomenal series. a 70 warrior. Question 2: I understand that this is like a d100 sided roll, but what I's like to have clarified is: a) Is the % based on the SPELL level or CREATURE level (I am pretty sure it is spell level, but want to clarify that). It's evolved from a WoW thing, into a truly well developed story. b) How is the d100 roll modified based on that percentage verses my Resitance level. Can't wait to see episode 10! One possible reason is the greater availability of spell hit for other DPS caster classes. wowgold.fr">wow fr I understand that on the second roll, it is a stepped resistance amount (0%, 25%, 50% or 75%, 100%) " "This weekend me and a set group of 5 were tearing up instances all over the outlands. This has gradually negated the DPS advantage gained by affliction locks through Suppression. We were doing some for fun and we also started the kara quest for me and another player. In other words, the spell hit granted by Suppression to affliction locks in early raid instances like Karazhan is really "ahead of its time", contributing to the build's stellar performance in those instances.
The group consisted of: 70 Epicced DPS Warrior who does insane amounts of damage! 70 Epicced Healer Druid who is by far the best healer I have ever played with 70 Non Epicced DPS/Off Tank Druid 69 Non Epicced but very well geared Prot Tank Me 69 Non Epicced Beast Master Hunter We havent hit an instance yet that we have had issues with. Excellent work yet again. gold wow Some fights took a little longer then other but we always took them down. And a great thanks to one of my favorite actresses around! This series isnt about gameplay. The we hit steam vaults. Its a character piece. Ohh good lord.As far as relatability; Its not about being to relate, if anyone can relate to these characters, then something is wrong. wow geld I cant remember the bosses name but its the one where he goes to the tank and you have to take down the tank before he becomes enraged. The beginning of the series gave you something sort of ordinary so you could recognize the situation, then it takes it beyond average and into the area of FUNNY. Photoshopped He was getting double enraged and was doing insane amounts of damage. We tried everything. Its outlandish for a reason. We switched out the DPS druid and brought in a fully epicced DPS Hunter and nothing we could do would bring the tank down fast enough to stop him from enraging.FANTASTIC series and awesome acting all 'round. wow gold cheap Twice we had the tank beat and he still enraged. Are we doing something wrong. I think I can already see the ending though. Are we missing something.Kinda like a, "well what now. Any suggestions would be great! That is exactly what we did. Well we still have that raid to finish up" something of the kind where they all just go back to exactly what they were doing before.
wow gold buy We even pulled our biggest damage dealer off the snake totally.

agro ratio so its not usually a proble
"Any tips/tricks that should be adhered to during the transition phase(s). I've recently respecced back to an affliction spec (40/0/21) just to revisit the good ol' days of mobility (instant DoTs) and an "unending" mana pool (Dark Pact). It seemed that our healers would get simply POUNDED by the adds once they spawned if they even the slightest healing. We also found it better for healers to run across the imaginary line (in case they drew aggro), but had some trigger-happy Fire Mages that couldn't seem to shake aggro in time. How soon prior to the tanks doing the phase transition do you need to stop doing DPS/healing.I know we tend to look back on the past with rose-colored glasses, and true enough, my experience with affliction again was ... Tell them ""Hold their breath"" during transition.less than satisfying. They need to be aware of the fight mechanics. Why the difference. While hes ""walked over"" its okay. Phenomenal series. Once hes ""over the line and about to switch colors"" its not okay. It's evolved from a WoW thing, into a truly well developed story. Dont heal. Make sure the raid is getting the HECK out of the way of where hydross is gonna be.Can't wait to see episode 10! One possible reason is the greater availability of spell hit for other DPS caster classes. po wow We had healers standing right where the nature tank picks hydross up.This has gradually negated the DPS advantage gained by affliction locks through Suppression. Ads would bone them almost instantly. If hydross turns nature for your nature tank, its safe for your nature tank to thunderclap to initially attract the ads, and vise-versa for frost tank.In other words, the spell hit granted by Suppression to affliction locks in early raid instances like Karazhan is really "ahead of its time", contributing to the build's stellar performance in those instances.
It buys time but dont let the tank distract from his primary job of spamming on hydross. Excellent work yet again. Cheapest wow gold The other downside is the ads kinda clump quick and its tough to tell which (or which two) are yours. We have the ""occasional stray add"" but its OK if its only for a few seconds. And a great thanks to one of my favorite actresses around! This series isnt about gameplay. Pick it up asap. Once hydross is passed to <appropriate tank="" resist=""></appropriate>its perfectly fine for <no tank="" main="" longer=""></no>to pick up one of the ads or be in charge of chase down 1 if it got away. Its a character piece. He can stun it if its hurting em a bit.As far as relatability; Its not about being to relate, if anyone can relate to these characters, then something is wrong. wow gold But one add of opposite resist won't kill ya, and should be dead within a couple marks. Dont stop all heals. The beginning of the series gave you something sort of ordinary so you could recognize the situation, then it takes it beyond average and into the area of FUNNY. Have the OT healers and raid healers hold their breath. Its outlandish for a reason. But the main tank healer should ""ease off"".FANTASTIC series and awesome acting all 'round. wow gold billig Dont completely stop. I think I can already see the ending though. The MT will die if you stop heals during the walk.Kinda like a, "well what now. Especially because sometimes he might take 1 hit of opposite resist. Well we still have that raid to finish up" something of the kind where they all just go back to exactly what they were doing before. wow power leveling Pallies are our standard tank healers and they have a very low heal:agro ratio so its not usually a problem.

No Doubt this has been tried before
"No Doubt this has been tried before, but i have searched around and havent found anything on it. 5 talent points in Imp Shadow Bolt, a Shadow Bolt critting initiated debuff will debuff the target which increases all shadow damage by 20% for 12 seconds or until 4 direct shadow damage sources hit the target. My question is if there are more than one warlock in the raid/group, and they both have points in that talent, *except one warlock put 4 points in ISB.One possible reason is the greater availability of spell hit for other DPS caster classes. 4 points will increase shadow damage by 16%.This has gradually negated the DPS advantage gained by affliction locks through Suppression. Those are two different debuffs. In other words, the spell hit granted by Suppression to affliction locks in early raid instances like Karazhan is really "ahead of its time", contributing to the build's stellar performance in those instances. One is 20%, the other is 16%. Excellent work yet again. So they cannot stack on top of each other, but Will they both be present as separate debuffs. And a great thanks to one of my favorite actresses around! This series isnt about gameplay. I think the 20% one will replace the 16% one, just like the way SoC would replace Corruption even though they are pretty different. I based on the basic that the more powerful version of that spell will replace the weaker version if only one of them can be placed on a single mob.Its a character piece. Eg.As far as relatability; Its not about being to relate, if anyone can relate to these characters, then something is wrong. wow gold kaufen 5/5 Shadow Embrace will replace 1/5 Shadow Embrace. Yeah it seems like that, but the destruction tree is set up to where its not really like ""ok i need one more point, where can i take one from...OH i'll take one from ISB"".The beginning of the series gave you something sort of ordinary so you could recognize the situation, then it takes it beyond average and into the area of FUNNY.
I was just wondering if anybody had heard of somebody trying it.Its outlandish for a reason. " .FANTASTIC series and awesome acting all 'round. wow gold cheapest Phenomenal series. Best moment in the series though is definatley when they all meet up for the first time and nobody says anything, then i think its Tink says that she got an epic dagger, and everyones like WOAH. gold wow Lmao, so true. The spec in question is destruction or 0/21/40 specifically. This spec capitalizes on the wonderful scalability of shadow bolt and consistently outperforms affliction when good spell hit and crit gear becomes available. wow powerleveling For a detailed look at the 0/21/40 build, check out my "A Warlock's descent into Destruction" article.
