Always good the see behind the scenes and see the process an author goes through to make his final product, and in this case nothing gets much better than a final product that has Tolkien's name on it.

Diese Ausgabe beinhaltet die letzten Bände, zehn bis zwölf, der Reihe "The History of Middle-earth". Gesammelt sind die späteren Überarbeitungen der Texte des "Silmarillion", einige Essays (z.B. über die Sprachen), und eine umfangreiche Timeline von Mittelerde. Hier findet sich auch der Entwurf für "The New Shadow", die nie zu Ende geführt Fortsetzung zu "Herr der Ringe".

J'ai les livres de poches des oeuvres traduites, cependant, en tant que collecteur des oeuvres de Tolkien, cette collection devait être dans ma bibliothèque. Ce tome, ainsi que les autres, est magnifique et plaira à aux lecteurs désirant acquérir ce genre de livre.
