「月」と「太陽」のように対照的であるエドワードとジェイコブ。

ベラを愛す、敵同士（バンパイアと狼）のふたり。

今回も「嵐が丘」を引用したりと女性にとっては、とても魅力的なロマンスが展開します。

といっても、そうしたロマンスばかりでは、もうティーンでない私などは疲れてしまいそうですが、本作はアクション要素も多く盛り込まれており、最後まで楽しく読めました。

あと、父親であるチャーリーの登場シーンがいつもなんだかコミカルで好きです。
普段は町の平和を守る強面の警官だけど、一人娘を心配するお父さんとしての姿がとてもかわいいんですよね。

もうすぐ日本でも公開の映画版は、いったいどんな仕上がりになっているのでしょう？
今から、とても楽しみです！

英語の勉強も兼ねて原作を読んでいます。
高校レベルの英語を備えていて、ラブロマンスが好きという方には是非お勧めです。楽しみながら英語の練習ができます。
（ただしTOEIC向けの語彙力はあまりつかないかもしれません…）

トワイライト・シリーズの中でも、この巻はべラとエドワードのラブ・シーンが多いので、うっとりと没頭して読めました。特にエドワードの台詞は、原文の方がよりロマンチックでしっくりくるように感じました。
エドワードの部分だけでも、原文で読む価値があると思います。

読んでいる間中、Bellaに腹を立てていました。
なんで彼女の周囲はいつも彼女にあんなに甘いの？
Bella本人も言っているとおり、もう少しひどい目に
あっても罰はあたらないと思うのですが。

切れそうな赤い糸（リボン）の表紙が恐怖を呼んで、
最後まで神経ぴりぴりでした。

Bellaの未熟さのおかげでEdwardとJakeがどれだけ
傷ついたかを思うと、☆は４つにしたくなるのですが、
EdwardとJakeが、あまりにもけなげでいい男すぎるので、
やっぱり☆五つに戻しました。
特に最後のEdwardの手紙は読んでいて指が震えました。
そしてその後のJakeの行動にも。

途中、Jakeが「オレはセント・バーナードじゃない」とか
言っていましたが、Edwaedはまさしく「聖エドワード」だよなと、
読み終えてしみじみ思いました。

次の舞台はイタリアでしょうか。
この話の決着がどうつくのか、やっぱり気になって
仕方がありません。

I'm so excited reading this third book of the series.It's been days since I finished the first two and I'm so thrilled to continue the craze.I was a bit irritated reading this one not because I don't like it but because of the "love triangle" part.Of course we want edward and bella in the end but triangles can be more fun right?The book gives you adventure,romance of course and irritation.Well I based it on to me but to sum it all up it was definitely a catch and it's awesome.Five stars and for recommendation.:)

ok, i read the book and all in all it is great, you cant stop reading it. but still, bella is starting to get on my nerves, i mean she HAS edward and then suddenly she notices that there might be someone else. if you ask me, thats selfish because in the end she chooses edward nevertheless. jake is getting a bit to sure of himself and is also bothering me with his 'bella loves me, she only doesnt know it yet'...but still, i liked it!! I'd also recommend reading Tino Georgiou's bestselling novel--The Fates--if you haven't yet!

Another great read!

I try not to get myself involved with the whole Edward Vs Jacob debate, but this book really sparks that debate!

I found the premise of this book very interesting, Bella desperate to be turned while both Edward and Jacob dont want it, but that wont stop her getting what she wants.

While all this is happening she is also learning more about the Cullen family and is dealing with her own potential demise.

Another great read and more lore added to the world.

Poor Charlie btw! that dude aint got a clue whats going on
