　マーサ・グライムズのおなじみジュリー・シリーズ。推理小説だからと難しく考えず、純粋に楽しめるシリーズです。
　日本での出版順は11番目にあたりますが、シリーズの中では第4作目にあたる作品です（この巻でヴィヴィアンの設定が変わるので注意！）。
シェイクスピアのソネットを作中にちりばめつつ、キャラクターも多いのでシリーズの中でも賑やかな印象の強い出来になっています。

One of the best of Martha Grimes. If you have never read the Richard Jury series from start to finish, you must. The characters are wonderfully quirky, the puzzles interesting and there is always something to learn. I have read the whole series about 3 times and one of them 8 times and I still can't figure out the ending. A totally satisfying experience in every way. Not a fan of her other books, and if those are the only ones you've read then you have missed her best. I love these so much I have them all in hard back and am also beginning a Kindle collection just in case.

I enjoyed the book and it came in a good packaging. I love used books too because in my eyes they tell a story aside from the one they already tell. #random
I can only recommend it to others who love a detective story that is entertaining and also offers a lot of intertextuality. (In this case the golden thread is Marlowe.) Thumbs up indeed!

The Dirty Duck était le seul livre dans la série que je n'avais pas. Comme d'habitude, Martha Grimes est excellent....histoire interessante, personnages principaux sympathiques, touche de fantaisie et humour réussie
