元々はマザーグースのこの歌、小さい子供の足の指を順番に動かしてあげながら歌い、最後に足の裏をこちょこちょ！ってやるんです。子供はもちろん大喜び！そんな遊びがそのまま絵本になっていてたまりません。各ページ、親指から順に指が動かせて、しかも引っ張ると中に隠れていたブタさんが飛び出してきます。絵も可愛く、子供が何度も見返すこと請け合いです！プレゼントにも最適です。

内容はとってもいいです。(短いですが・・）。歌をいっしょに歌いながら読んであげると喜びます。ただ、他にも書いてる方がいらっしゃったような気がしますがしかけがうまく動かしづらいです。あとうちの子(1歳4ヶ月）は最後のページの飛び出すぶたさんの家がどうにも気になったらしく、べりっとはぎとってしまったので小さい子に触らせるのは厳しいかもしれないです。

いま5歳の長女が赤ちゃんの頃購入しました。他の方もおっしゃっているように、
ちょっと破れてしまったところもありましたが、大好きな本でした。お勧めです。

サークルで歌の導入の時に使おうと買いました。
指をぐーっと下に引っ張ると、歌詞通りの豚が出てきます。
小さい本だけど、なかなかすごいですよ。
歌も短いので、本もあっという間に終わってしまいますけどね。

My son absolutely loves this book and has since he was about 10 months (he is 19 months now). We didn't even realize when we first received it as a gift that the little toes moved (duh!). He did it on his own. He tries to grab the piggy that pops up before we pop the piggy back into hiding. I'm also buying a second one because he has "used" this book almost every day for the last 9 months and has beaten it up pretty bad. I can't wait for him to see the new copy -- he'll be so excited. Anyway, it is so unpredictable which books kids will love. I think this one has been the reliable favorite of my son.

I was wanting to replace my old worn out copy of This Little Piggy with a nicer one but I was disappointed to receive a copy that was in worst shape than mine, dirty and taped in one place.

my little one loved this book, but unfortunately have to keep it put up and only get it to read, as she wants to pull on pop ups that you get when you wiggle each piggy. very cute book, i would recommend it others with little ones.
