Between Chronicles and Legends, what made Raistlin aspire to godhood?
Raistlin Majere has become a Black Robe wizard and travels to Neraka, the lord city of the Dark Queen, ostensibly to work for her, though in reality he means to further his own quest for power. But Takhisis finds out that the dragon orb has entered her city and sends her draconians to find and destroy the wizard who has it in his possession. Before her agents can strike, though, Raistlin finds out that Takhisis means to take control of all wizardly magic. She has ordered Kitiara to set a trap for the Gods of Magic on the Night of the Eye, when all the high-ranking wizards will be in Neraka to celebrate.
As the forces of light, with help from the good dragons, are turning the tide of battle, Raistlin is forced to flee, for his foes are closing in on him. As the Dragon Highlords vie for the Crown of Power in the Temple of the Dark Queen, Raistlin Majere wages his own desperate battle against Takhisis in the dungeons below and meets again the brother he betrayed. The fate of the world hangs in the balance.

Hickman is also the editor of a new Tracy Hickman Presents line of Dragonlance novels for Wizards of the Coast, while Weis is in the midst of her own, popular, solo Dark Disciple series for Wizards. Excellent Raistlin Book
2018年8月15日にドイツでレビュー済みAmazonで購入
This book delves in deeply in the time Raistlin spend at Neraka with other black robed wizards… though mostly black clerics. It brings you a lot of character development for Raistlin, along with some... truly interesting plot points and twists.
I will admit that the way it is written and presented, you get a much more facetted view of Raistlin and start caring about him. A beautiful book to get more information about a great, nay wonderful fantasy universe.

Hourglass Mage is a very good book.
It takes place during the original trilogy and like all of Weis & Hickman novels, it carries a strong story, great dialogue, and charming humor. Be prepared though; what you see is what you get. This is a Raistlin story. It's about Raistlin. It is all about Raistlin. That isn't bad of course, as Raistlin is hands-down one of the best D&D characters ever written, but this is a very focused and tight story, so while the other characters are in it, it's more along the line of cameos. In addition, this story is very focused and is about a very well established character, so there really isn't any new waters to tread with him. It's good--it's really good, but it's a very small, narrow story.
Major Dragonlance fans or Raistlin fans in general will love this, or even casual fans looking for a new book to fill that gaping hole that the Fourth Age left in their heart, but know that what you see is what you get.

finalmente la verità su Raistlin
