Fairy Fun!
2020年2月28日にアメリカ合衆国でレビュー済みAmazonで購入
This is one of the BEST books you can get for a child that loves fairies or to accompany a fairy garden project. So sweet and witty, this book is full of “fairy facts” that will capture your child’s imagination. Childhood should be magical.

Practical Faerie Guide

I bought this as a gift for a faerie lover and I was able to look at it briefly after it came in. The pictures are all vibrant and beautiful! I was telling her that I may have to steal it from her, haha. There is a lot of unique information that I never would have thought would have been in here such as a fairy language guide and a funny warning to never give a faerie your full name because they will have control of you. Very cute! It was definitely worth the buy.

Great systemless introduction to D&D faeries for young players
2013年12月1日にアメリカ合衆国でレビュー済みAmazonで購入
I've been collecting many of these Practical Guide books as part of a not-so-secret plan to use them as a gateway to playing Dungeons & Dragons for my two young children in a few years. Although this edition isn't as quite as good as the guides to dragons, monsters or wizardry, it's great kid-friendly fun while still being a great resource to anyone running a light-hearted D&D game.
Although the book prefigures Wizards of the Coast's Heroes of the Feywild book by two years, there's still a number of Fourth Editionisms in here, along with some repurposed art from 3E monster books. But most readers won't notice or care, and it's all blended wonderfully together.
There's guides to most faerie races (although, oddly, not pixies, which are mentioned and pictured throughout), along with faerie customs, magic, guides to fighting them and locations in a very kid-friendly (even somewhat Disneyfied) Feywild. The book has useful details even for groups without young players, like faerie language and culture. And since it's all fluff, no crunch, it's easily adaptable to various editions of D&D and its derivatives (I'm likely to use it with Castles & Crusades, myself).
But readers neither need to know nor care about D&D to get full value out of this particular Practical Guide: Fans of the Spiderwick Chronicles and other fiction series will likely love this book. I also strongly recommend fans of Faeries, D&D or otherwise, to pick up Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You, which covers much of the same ground as several of the Practical Guides books, with great art by Tony DeTerlizzi.

So cute

I think this would be a fun book for people who like faeries. This book discusses their Wardrobe, names, society and many other things. The facts are interesting despite they're fake :p.
