A New Classic Project management Text
2016年7月23日に英国でレビュー済みAmazonで購入
Glen is a Project Manager's Project Manager. He knows his stuff, reads widely and thinks deeply. His ideas are solid and reliable - not least because he has a depth of experience in big complex projects that means he speaks with the voice of real authority.
But in this book, he wears his expertise and intellect lightly. His checklists and concepts are easy to follow and apply to the simpler business projects I have specialised in as well as more complicated mission critical, high reliability programs. So, why is this?
I think it is because Glen's Five Principles, Practices and Processes are exactly what he claims for them: outright fundamental and essential. What Glen does is put his finger on the things that matter and he explains them with clarity and insight.
This deserves to be a classic Project Management text for new and experience PMs alike. And thank you to Amacom for producing a well-bound hardback edition that will last as long as your PM career - even if you buy it at the start of a very long career - which you should!
Declaration: I know Glen online and have enjoyed and respected his PM insights for many years. But I bought my own copy of his book and am glad I did.

Well-written book with practical approaches and insights

A good book that reflects the author's first-hand experience in and insights into project management. Along with practical frameworks, the author properly addressed the random nature of project performance and emphasized the importance of probabilistic approaches to forecasting in Earned Value Management.
