MLA会員になれば無料でもらえます

あまり知られていないようですので、ひとつ書いておきますと、このハンドブックはMLA会員になれば１冊は無料で送付されてきます。
日本の大学でも、米国の大学でも、人文系研究の大学院生であれば、年会費$20でPMLA（MLAの機関紙で年六回発行）とこのハンドブックがもらえます（日本在住でも送料無料で送られてきます。ただし遅いですが）。これは実際かなりお得です。詳細はMLAのHPで見てみてください。

ちなみにこの本はあくまで書式面のハンドブックですので、英語論文の内容面に関してはほとんど役に立ちません。
なお、2009年発行の第７版では、文献リストの各文献情報の最後にPrint.とかWeb.と書いて、それが印刷された文献かウェブ上の記事なのか等を一目でわかるようにしたのがMLA方式の大きな変化のようです。

I work with the MLA Handbook since the beginnings of my studies and have always found it very useful. The seventh edition is as helpful as the other editions and complies with all the demands of university standards. However, again the Association did not include new devices, such as YouTube videos or e-books. The issue about how to cite an e-book at the end as well as within the text is not solved. Anyway, it is still a great help when writing research papers.

I think this is a great book which helps everybody especially the college students who are going to write the MLA project. This helps me a lot while doing research on every sources and help me how to cite them correctly. Each page in the books help you to understand the way how it goes and give you some ideas how it looks like. Furthermore,it will give you some examples that will help you easily to figure out. To me, it's a little bit hard to understand at the first time. But just read, you guys, and then you will see the great things in the book and you will learn so much. I don't figure out yet the MLA writing in the college, but in High school, I did my project with some help from this book and it gains my grade.
Don't worry, just take your time and read the book carefully and clearly and try to find the right way for you self.
