Roger Hargreavesによる本で、40冊以上刊行されている
Mr Menシリーズの４冊目の本です。

Tiddletownというところに住んでいた長い鼻が特徴のMr
Noseyは、とってもせんさく好きでした。

何か穴があれば中を覗いてしまうし、未開封の封筒があ
れば開けて中を見てしまうし、隣の人が新聞を読んでい
れば自分の新聞よりもそちらが気になってしまいます…。

そんな調子だからMr Noseyはみんなから人気がありませ
んでした。そして、遂にTiddletownの人たちが我慢なら
ず、Mr Noseyについて会議を開くことになりました。

そして、一人の人がある計画を思いつきます…。さて、
その計画とは…？

サイズはおよそ13センチ四方の大きさの、お手軽な絵本
です。カラフルな色使いで書かれたキュートな絵がとって
も魅力的です。シリーズで読み進めたい本ですね。

This is a funny book about a nosey person. My kids loved it when they were preschool age, so I bought it for my grandniece. I’m so glad it is still around!

Great book about minding your own business. Mr Nosey is taught a lesson by the other people in the community about butting into other peoples business.

Mr Nosey is a classic Mr Man book, loved by me as a kid (a few years ago now!) and loved by my kids, nieces and nephews since. All the Mr Men books have a moral; this one is obviously to not poke your nose into other people's business. The moral is delivered in a fun way and the characters are so great, simply drawn, bright and instantly recognisable, with obvious features that represent their name.....you can't help but love them!

For younger children, each story is just short enough to read to them at bedtime and not too long so it holds their interest. For older children, they can either read them to themselves or you can read them a few each bedtime.

My children are 3 and 7 and both love them.

Buy and enjoy, as a story with your children, or a nostalgic trip down memory lane!
