O jogo é muito bom, tem aquele ar anos 90 que pode afastar alguns, mas se você quer um jogo para emular o X Files, essa é sem dúvidas a melhor escolha.

O sistema é excelente e o livro tem artes bem decentes.

Spannendes Rollenspiel, das weder in einer reinen Fantasiewelt noch in Vergangenheit oder Zukunft angesiedelt ist. Das Eintauchen ins Nichtalltägliche in einer Welt, die der unseren so sehr ähnelt, ist gerade das Berauschende an diesem Spiel: Realistische heutige technische oder politische Entwicklungen kann man fantastisch weiterspinnen und "erleben", was daraus (auch aus eigenen technischen Ideen) wird. Irre!

Conspiracy X es un buen e interesante juego de rol. Esta segunda edición adapta las reglas al Unisystem, un sistema bastante versátil y modular, que te deja simplificarlo o complicarlo cuánto tú quieras. Es el mismo de juegos como Zombie: AFMBE o Witchcraft.
El problema que le veo a este manual básico, es que sólo te hace una introducción a lo paranormal y el trasfondo del juego. Aunque suficiente para jugar, es necesario o incluso esencial, adquirir los otros tres suplementos The Etraterrestrials, The Paranormal y The Conspiracies Sourcebooks para una explicación en detalle de los distintos elementos del trasfondo, como el resto de organizaciones, las razas alienígenas o los poderes psíquicos y rituales mágicos. Solo con este libro saldrán partidas muy limitadas, y obliga al Master a rellenar los huecos.

Conspiracy X 2.0 is funded by Kick starter. These words probably spawn visions of cheap paper backs with a low page count, mostly text, poor play testing and low production values. Not here pal! This book is very good. A 256 page HARD back book full of art with that most holy of RPG Grails, an index.
It is sensibly laid out and easy to use both as a Games mastering resource and a players guide. Which is critical, this is a game about world spanning conspiracies ( admittedly with a US bias) so this book contains everything you need to create characters, stories and campaigns but doesn't give away the back story, so players can read it safely with out fear of ruining the conspiracy behind every thing.
The system is straight forward enough to keep the action and by extension the suspense flowing but detailed enough that skills and Stats matter.
The character creation is nicely in depth and very broad so it is easy to avoid stereotyping. It is a points based creation system which I generally prefer as it means every one starts out equal. An unusual feature is the Cell creation, the resources available to your team, this is done like character creation and is I fact based on what resources and influence you have given your characters. But it is done as a group exercise, pooling your resources to " buy" a base, vehicles and equipment from a long and pretty thorough list. Compact car? Check, SR71 Blackbird spy plane? Check!
So, a good entry to an exciting system.
Now the buts, one minor one annoying. There is no introductory mission which is a bit of a shame as it means a group can not just dive in.
More annoying is the lack of a character sheet or a Cell data sheet to photocopy, although one is available on line as a PDF and a pad of them can be purchased. These are pretty minor niggles on what is otherwise a vey well presented package. Would recommend this to any one who has watched conspiracy TV shows of Movies ( or read books by people like Dan Brown) and fancies playing as characters in those stories.

This is a really well written game, and brilliant fun to play. More info could have been in this core book about the alien races, but considering how much Majestic-12 are covered, you still have plenty of detail for your antagonists. Well worth getting!
