I must say, it was the title that caught my interest (and maybe later on the blurb), but goodness, I was captured after the second paragraph on the very first page of the story.
I must have been complaining a bit too much when a good friend of mine suggested I get this book. So happy she did!

一種の幻想譚で長口舌などかなり観念的である。ポオに通じるものもあるが日本的な暗く湿った情念がグロテスクで、闇落ちした泉鏡花と言った感じ。読む人を選ぶと思う。

小栗はアル中で死んだそうだが、この作品も呂律の回らない喋りだ。
自己満足しているらしいが、明治生まれはみな、こんなものか。
こんな悪文を見るのも、そうはないよ。
一応、小説家だったんだろう、小栗は。

A story filled with so many emotions. It makes you feel good and bad. Just like true love can make you feel
I knew I should go to bed and I did but I laid there and said I have to finish that book that is how good this book is with every penny of what it cost
Great book! Lots of turns and twist which made it good. Lots of suspense , could not put it down.

There are so many truths in the book that I think all individuals (not just women) can and should hear and apply to themselves in whatever manner makes sense for them.
Can you tell, I absolutely loved it! Can't wait to see what the author comes up with next!
I'm not a reader however, that all changed when I picked up this book.

I devoured this book the first time through because I had to know what happened in it
This book was beautiful and I'm so happy that I found it and I will hold it dear and recommend it to many.
I will definitely buy the hardcopy for my library. I loved it and highly recommend it !!!

I know that im just adding one more five star review to many others but i just can't help it ! This was one of those books I could not put down but also didn't want it to end.
I know when I go to sleep tonight, I will have excellent dreams because of this beautiful book. I want everyone to read it. I will say it: this is a book I will reread and often. I can't recommend it enough.
Can you tell, I absolutely loved it! Can't wait to see what the author comes up with next!
