It was established to meet the practical needs of people who are not necessarily specialists on Japan but who wish to communicate effectively in Japanese. In 1992 the Association was awarded the Japan Foundation Special Prize.

Not as good as the first two. I'm currently on this textbook for a japanese GCSE. Content is fine overall however there is an absense of colour in these books whereas the others did have colour. Not a big change just something to take note of.
Very good for learning Japanese though, presents it in an easy to read way with excelent structure
