Fantastic feel good film. Picture quality good after fuzzy start. Title and writing on box in Spanish but can change audio to English. No subtitles, so really good. Would recommend for anyone who grew up on 80's gentle romantic not so intense films. Main actors and rest of the cast are brilliant. Glad to have seen this after so long
The only thing missing from this film was maybe a surly Debi Mazur doing a New York moment walk on to smack some sense into Dillon's warped sexist pig head. You have got to love Matt Dillon's honesty in this film - he plays it like he just rolled off a street corner in the meat district or something. The broad in this film, I forget her name, reminded me a lot of a young Sophia Loren. Maybe this is where Matt suddenly developed a fondness for Italian chicks? Ya nevah know. Seriously though - can Matt Dillon EVER make a bad movie? No. This is the classic boy loses girl then gets girl back shtick, but Matt as usual gives it that special "regular guy" touch. You gotta love that about him. I thought I was ruined by perfection forever after I saw 'Drugstore Cowboy,' but you must go on and see how Matt grows year after year as an actor. It's always real and he always keeps it real. That's why we keep going back to see his films. I wish Matt Dillon would visit Chicago. We're running out of good looking men to look at. Amen.
This DVD played poerfectly and was delivered to me quickly. In honor of my Hero ~ David Wiggins ~ this movie symbolizes true love & admiration for another. Great actors in this movie. It will leave you with a smile on your face & joy in your heart!
