Shrapnel's best-selling instrumental guitar albums. His latest work combines equal parts rock / fusion and blues. For those wanting a handy reference point on how good (or should I say "Howe good" - well, maybe not; it's a bad pun) Greg is, keep in mind that this guy came in second only to Joe Satriani in a Guitar Player Magazine readers' poll.
Greg Howe is a huge talent, from his time in Howe II, his solo work and his effort with Ritchie Kotzen there is little or nothing to disappoint. This album is not hard rock al la Howe II, but it is superb Jazz Fusion, so if you are a fan of that you won't go wrong. He collaborates with excellent musicians and it shows on this album...
Great CD.. Greg seems have found his place in the Jazz/Rock Fusion area. There is a taste of Jazz along with power fusion scales, pentatonics, arppegioe's, played on his fender Strat. You name it, he is all over the neck.. His acoustic song "Quiet Hunt" is incredible. This CD is great !
