People who say this album sucks are just Fat Mike sycophants (and he said what he thought about sycophants in their last album. This album is technical hardcore punk madness, with tons of counter-timing drumming, very long Megadeth-like riffs (see Mr Jones.), awesome bass from the rapidly developing Fat Mike on his 4 string axe. Yes, he yells, but it's hardcore punk, he has to yell, most of the time. I like his voice here better in all albums, in S&M Airlines and Ribbed he tried to learn to sing and do harmonies, when they decided to incorporate Bad Religion's return sound into their own. Singing was horrible in Airlines and just okay in Ribbed, it got fine on The Longest Line EP and over when they changed to simply punk rock (for a while, they flirted again with hardcore punk later, but melodic hardcore punk from the 2000's and on). This album is not only hilarious, every instrumentalist is at their peak, some solos are unbelievable when you hear them not from Kidwiller, but from Melvin. So Melvin most likely does not suck, he's just lazy. Alright, I said enough. But there's one last thing I wanna say about this album, first time I heard it I was maybe 13, I didn't like it as much as the I heard they sucked live album my cousin taped. I just hadn't heard enough music then, this music is a kind of technical hardcore, made in the 80's, which is a surprising feat (although RKL's Rock And Roll Nightmare was going this way), Smelly is going mad with all these counter timings and the guitar lines and bass lines where there's just one playing a riff, not to be heard again, into the verse, it was just a bridge riff, and they do that often here too. Eff'in awesome if you're an 80's hardcore lover.
