CDを買いたかったのですが、間違えたようで自動的にダウンロードが始まったので仕方なく購入しました。
懐かしいアルバム（ｌP）がよみがえりました。

このアルバムはPONTYの中でも好きな方である　ただし発表された82年には国内盤はリリースされていなかった
その頃自分は国内盤よりも海外盤の方が音が良いので輸入盤をあさっていたので本作のLPは所蔵している
ターンテーブルをセットできない時期にはCDを試聴音源の中心とするしかなく　面倒くさいのもあってCDをアマゾンで購入して
既に持っていた　しかし！　レコードで聴くときの感銘が余り感じられない…で本盤はSHM-CDという事で再度購入　さすがに
ハイレゾ？とはいかないとは思うが　音は確実にクリアに　響きもあり分離も良いと思う　少なからず効果はあるようだ
さて曲について　全体に組曲なので通して聴く構成になっていると思う　１曲スティービー・ワンダーのASが入っているが
これが結構お気に入りだったりする　云うまでもなく名盤だと思う　v（￣ε￣）

ファンタジックな作品はかなりあるが質まで高いものはあんましない。
キャメル、キャラバンなどが有名だが、このポンティーもこのアルバムでやってくれた。組曲形式をとった前半の構成は聴いていると自分が旅をしているような錯覚に捕われる。後半は彼の高度なテクニックとバンドが一丸となったハイレベルな演奏が聴ける。バラードもかなりよく、コンテンポラリージャズバイオリニストの第一人者であることを証明している。１０点中１０点。

5つ星のうち5.0 ファンタジーの世界を見事に音で表現することに成功した作品

夢を大切にするバイオリン奏者ジャンリュックポンティー。そんな彼が挑戦して獲得した一大叙事詩＝音絵巻がこの作品。神秘的な冒険と題された最初の組曲は実に映像的だ。また彼の得意技＝哀愁を含んでいるのにやけにパワフルな曲構成も満載だ。私の一番大好きな曲はずばりFinal truth とJigである。彼の最大の魅力である、雄大なイメージと躍動感の両方が見事にマッチしていて心地よい。そして随所にポンティーの優雅で洗練されているが哀愁とパワーとパッションを失わない超絶技巧がちりばめられている。この時期のポンティーはフレージングが新鮮でなおかつ切れ味が鋭かった。そんな絶好調のポンティーが聞けるバイオリンジャズの一つの最高到達点がこれだ。

5つ星のうち4.0 1980年代のアルバムなんだけど、「我が道を行く」と言った趣で制作されているアルバム・・・当然どこを聴いてもＪＬＰです（笑）！！

1982年リリースのＡＴＬＡＮＴＩＣ時代通算9作目・・・出てくるサウンドは、安定のＪＬＰです。時代的に考えると商業主義的な路線に行きそうなのですが、流石ＪＬＰぶれる事なく制作されています。アナログＡ面タイトルトラック組曲「ＭＹＳＴＩＣＡＬ　ＡＤＶＥＮＴＵＲＥＳ」で、プログレッシヴＪＡＺＺＲＯＣＫ全開でまさに本領発揮です・・・テクニカルなんだけど、誰でも安心して聴けるような美しいサウンドなんだよね！私的な印象としては、大名盤「ＥＮＩＧＭＡＴＩＣ　ＯＣＥＡＮ」を踏襲した仕上がりかな。久しぶりに聴きましたが、「ＡＳ」はスティーヴィーワンダーのカヴァーだったとは！メンバーは、ＪＬＰ（Ｖｌｎ／Ｓｙｎ）・クリスライン（Ｋｅｙ）・ランディジャクソン（Ｂ）・レイフォードグリフィン（Ｄｒ）・ジェイミーグラッサー（Ｇ）・ポリーニャダコスタ（Ｐｅｒ）・・・ギターが一人体制になっていたのが、ちょっと物足りなかったかな。歳をとった事もあり（笑）、こういうサウンドは癒されますわ・・・とは言え、イージーリスニングとかではないのでご注意を。

About a year or so ago, as I have been buying several of JLP's records, I had previewed this recording and was considering buying it then as a download, but waited too long and the download went out of print. The reason is that Warner has licensed this record out to Wounded Bird Records, who are a CD-only vendor of undeappreciated records that the major labels let go out of print. Initially I was very bummed by this. But then I checked out the live versions of some of the tracks on this CD, and figured this might be worth going the CD route. I'm glad I did.

Wounded Bird did a terrific job with this CD. Not sure if they remastered this on their own (or Warner did for them), but it sounds great. They did a close replica of the original album graphics (back cover text is, as you'd expect from a close reprint of the original graphics, very small to read but the text is also reprinted in larger font inside the CD gatefold), which is great and unique as most don't bother trying to do that, they just alter it for CD. For fans of JLP's suites like Enigmatic Ocean or Imaginary Voyage, you get not one but two suites here (Mystical Adventures and Final Truth). JLP also does a cover of a Stevie Wonder song, As, featuring legendary arranger and co-producer Arif Mardin. As most JLP fans know, this is unique in that JLP rarely ever has anyone else co-produce or arrange his records. Also you get Jig and one track you've probably heard before, liked it a lot, but didn't know what it was called, Rythms of Hope.

This is definitely in the same league as Cosmic Messenger, Enig. Ocean and all the other JLP records I love. Give it a shot. Well worth it.

La couverture est magnifique, la musique aussi, c'est un essentiel de Jean-luc Ponty de 1980, un mélange de musique instrumentale qui mèle les sons acoustique et les synthétiseurs analogique de l'époque, c'était avant les timbres tout fait qu'on pouvait rappeler à volonté, ce qui donne un charme et une originalité aux sonorités choisi.
La musique elle-même a été écrite et jouée avec brio avec des artistes de talents tel que Randy Jackson (Bass), Rayford Griffin (Drums), Jamie Glaser (Guitar), Paulinho da Costa (Percussions), et au claviers Chris Rhyne qui en plus d'un Grand piano, et un piano électrique, joue sur le légendaire Prophet 5 et un ancien modulaire Oberheim blanc à 8 voix, (celui qui contient les modules SEM encore très populaire sujet a la virtualisation depuis 2011 pour ceux qui savent).
Un style qui mélange le jazz et la fusion, les séquences électroniques, avec aussi des élément de classique et du folklore. Mystical adventures est une suite en 5 mouvements, et une reprise instrumentale d'un Classique de Stevie Wonder, "AS" tiré de songs of the key of life. Superbe.

Great album. The original copy that I had got damaged in a flood so I wanted another copy. I have been listening this album for years on end and it always takes me on a mystical adventure. The music from this album could have been used in the myst games
