I played Bass for this line-up of Beowulf in 1995 and sang backup vocals on the first 2 Beowulf releases from the 80's. This is some of Dale Henderson's best songwriting. It shows a perfect progression from their other 3 releases. Here you can hear influences like: The Clash, Pink Floyd, Adolescents. Recorded in Seattle you can also hear the grunge sound creeping in. Track 1 "Throw Your Rock" is as good as it gets. The title track "2 cents" was in the famous cult film "Tank Girl". Released in 1995 on Restless Records Produced by D.C. Herring its a highly overlooked release.
