As with so many other people...."Little Girl" stands out as a classic among the mediocre songs on this CD. So, I broke down and purchased "Syndicate of Sound" for the "classic" song - a song that really brings back some memories. AND I love the U-Tube of this performance!! These guys had talent!

Schon lange gesucht, nun endlich gefunden: Syndicate of Sound und Little Girl. Gut, dass es das Internet gibt, in dem man praktisch alles findet, was irgendwo verfügbar ist. Die Musik tendiert in Richtung Searchers und Ivy League und wer sie mag, der liegt hier goldrichtig.

Ich bin froh das ich diese CD vor ein paar Jahren gekauft habe, denn sie ist nirgends mehr zu bekommen.
Nicht nur der Titel "Little Girl " war Mega sondern die ganze CD.

I bought this album as a teen in the 60s, got rid of it by decade's end, but recently purchased the expanded CD on the strength of the terrific "Rumors" on the new "Love Is the Song We Sing" box set. But my teen self was right: aside from "Rumors" and the sassy "Little Girl," the CD consists mostly of weak covers and derivitive originals. (Even "Rumors" nicks its chorus from Donovan's "The Trip.") The SoS could play in a variety of musical styles, but that doesn't make up for the overall blandness.
