I'm glad that I didn't have to pay too much money for this, £3.32p I'm not completely sure if it's a poor quality recording or the sounds coming from the organ on this recording, I have read a few reviews on products that criticise the quality of recordings on the Hallmark label, which this recording is on, so it might well be the quality of the recording, I will avoid the Hallmark label from now on. I'm not keen though on the sounds coming from the organ, I recently brought the Jimmy Smith, Midnight Special CD which has Stanley Turrentine on sax, and there is no comparrison in both the quality of the organ playing and Stanley Turrentine on sax, the same can be said for the Kenny Burrell CD Midnight Blue which also has Stanley Turrentine on sax, so obviously Stanley Turrentine is a quality musician, but I wouldn't recommend this particular recording (Dearly Beloved) when Turrentine can be heard on better albums.
