Premier album solo du guitariste de The Time. Bien que les lignes de synthés accusent pas mal le poids des ans, la précision des arrangements est tout bonnement bluffante. La guitare de Jesse enchante, aussi bien dans les longs solos, que par ses rythmiques funky à souhait. Il confirme son sens de la mélodie, que l'on pouvait présager dans Jungle Love. L'album suivant, Shockadelica, est bien plus abouti, mais finalement bien moins enthousiasmant que celui-ci. c'est un must-have pour tout fan du Mpls Sound.

A lot of great music on this album, "I want my girl" is one of my favorite R&B songs of all time. There is so much more great content on this album on top of that its really great.
