If you like things a little weird, this is an incredible album to add to your rap collection. I only bought the physical CD because it's hard to come by on streaming services, but well worth the purchase! I would love to see more people fall in love with this album so it becomes more accessible.
I originally downloaded most of Doseone's stuff (he's gone by many names and some works are better than others) - but this music is so original, thoughtful, rhythmic and GOOD I had to buy the things.
If you like this check out cLOUDDEAD. I'd say that and this are timeless classics - I'll make no comment on the rest of Doseone's career :)
If anything the poetic madman Doseone has put out has sparked your interest; then you need this like you need sustenance. Boom Bip's production meshes perfectly with his indescribable spoken-word art/stream of consciousness/rap thing in the best of ways. Very relatable and extremely engaging. Debatably the best piece of work to come from a rapper with one of the most diverse and intriguing catalogs around. A must listen for any fan of left-field hip-hop in general. 9/10.
