Yet another collection of club classics from the Ministry of Sound. The Annual Spring 2001 is a flawless mix of tracks to kick-start your weekend. Disc Two presents relentless, pounding mixes of Norman Bass ("How U Like Bass"), Public Domain ("Operation Blade") and the dancefloor favourite "That Zipper Track" by DJ Dan with Needle Damage. There are as ever the usual anthems like Delerium's "Silence" or the corking "Spaced Invader" (Hatiros) representing the mainstream side of things nicely alongside Rui de Silva's "Touch Me". Chopping it up with Funky beats and vocals, Disc One delivers tunes of a feelgood flavour with M&S's "Salsoul Nugget" and the huge "Camels" by Santos which take you back to the heady summer of Ibiza 2000. As with all previous Ministry of Sound releases, the selections are great, the presentation is flawless and the mixing seamless, definitely a spring essential. -- Gina Lundy
