まずライヴアクションを撮影し、その動作を分解して作画を施すという、現在のCG映画などでは一般的手法を、早くも導入していたことが驚きである。38年度のアカデミー賞特別賞を受賞。ぽっちゃり愛らしい白雪姫と、個々のキャラクターも明確に「ハイホー」などの名曲を歌う小人たちとの交流シーンの微笑ましさ。ディズニー・ミュージカルの伝統は、長編第1作目にしてすでに始まっていた。とにもかくにも「名作」という響きが何よりふさわしい傑作だ。（的田也寸志）

昔の吹き替えが聞きたくて購入した。
オリジナル音声とはこういうことかと後で気づいた。最後まで説明を読まないといけないと反省（吹き替えはしなおしたときちんと説明されています。）
幼少期に聞いてた女王の声が聞きたかったのに…そこがいちばんざんねん（ ; ; ）
吹き替えてなければ英語は昔のまま。

I was extremely excited to receive this DVD.... Upon opening it, one gets the feeling that it is truly a special edition. The packaging is very nice: the DVD box is sturdy with two openings for each disk. The pamphlet inside the DVD is gorgeously produced and very helpful.
My first impression is that Disney has spent much time making this DVD user-friendly. There is an abundance of directions and drawings showing you what is on the disk and how to get there. Since there are two disks and a KINGDOM of information to pour through, these directions are very welcome (even to this seasoned DVD-viewer!)

Disney pulls out some familiar faces to make the experience as warm as possible: Disney himself appears in various footage; Angela Lansbury narrates the documentary and provides a "tour" of the disks; Michael Eisner shows up; and Barbra Streisand sings a specially recorded version of "Some Day My Prince Will Come".

SNOW WHITE, the movie, looks gorgeous and, although old fashioned, is quite wonderful. SNOW WHITE, the double-disk, is a lot of information to wade through. I am amazed at the amount of behind-the-scenes film that exists! Disney must have suspected that he was creating a classic - he filmed every aspect of it! I especially enjoy the HALL OF ART section. There are 3 halls of various story art (i.e. "The cottage"; "The castle"; "the Forest"; etc.) Although initially I found it hard to move from hall to hall, I eventually figured it out. The animated HALLS are extraordinary and the art that "hangs" there is incredible -- various renderings and attempts at bringing the story and locales of SNOW WHITE alive. It's even more incredible that Disney Co. held on to these papers for all these years.

Well, in case you can't tell, I highly recommend the special SNOW WHITE disks. You will spend days looking at everything that is included -- or you can opt to spend an hour and a half viewing the original,gorgeous film that started the Disney empire....

まず、演出や映像技術に驚かされました。
70年前の作品だというのに、ここまで絵を動かせるのかと。
一瞬でしたが小人の小屋の外、小川の水面がリアルでどうやって表現したのか驚きました。
やはりディズニーの映像技術ってすごいんですね。
ストーリー自体は昔ながらの童話という感じで懐かしさを覚えました。
白雪の顔が独特なので人によってはちょっと怖いかも？

I remember watching shorts or music videos of the songs when I was younger, but when I viewed this in my older years, felt that it dragged a little and was truely a youngsters picture. Though, it did keep the great story (even if adjusted slightly from the original story for youth's sanity's sake, i guess), the lovable Disney dwarves and songs! And now I'm even able to see the Japanese version! Disney's Pinnochio in Japanese is awesome!

La clásica de clásicas. El primer dibujo animado de Disney el cual se reestrenó y coloreó para su distribución (originalmente la película era en blanco y negro).
La imagen es fabulosa y gana enteros en todos los apartados. Jamás se había visto tan bien y la crítica especializada le ha otorgado algunas calificaciones perfectas por la fabulosa restauración que realizó Disney.
Trae el redoblaje del 2001, pero la verdad es que me gustó ese doblaje y nunca vi el del VHS.
El audio latino es Dolby Digital 5.1, el cual se oye muy bien en teles sin barra de sonido. También trae audio en inglés 5.1 DTS-HDMA y subtítulos en ambos idiomas.
El código digital es válido solo para USA.

Diffidate di recensioni in cui si millantano impianti costosissimi e poi non si sa distinguere la resa di un video UltraHD da quella di un blu-ray.
Il disco 4K di Biancaneve, primissimo classico Disney, ci consegna questa pietra miliare con un'immagine che rende giustizia alla natura originale della pellicola, mostrando a schermo il giusto livello di grana filmica, un maggiore dettaglio (seppure non una differenza abissale rispetto alla versione blu-ray, che in effetti era già ottima, ma il miglioramento c'è eccome) e dei colori che a un'occhiata superficiale potrebbero sembrare più "spenti", ma questo non significa che la colorimetria sia sbagliata o sia stato fatto un passo indietro rispetto alla precedente versione: su uno schermo/lettore compatibili con HDR, e adeguatamente calibrati, la resa dei colori è perfettamente naturale e quanto di più vicino alla resa originale di questa vecchissima pellicola.
Insomma, acquisto imprescindibili per i patiti di animazione, sia per il valore storico di questa pellicola, sia perché dopo tanti anni Disney torna finalmente a distribuire un titolo di alto profilo del suo catalogo d'animazione nel nostro mercato, trattandosi del primo 4K di uno dei loro Classici (ne sono già usciti 4 o 5 all'estero), cosa che potrebbe far sperare bene per la futura uscita di altri film animati nel prestigioso formato UltraHD. La speranza di poter avere tutti i Classici è molto flebile, ma è già un ottimo inizio.
