Those who don't understand going out for the Friday night happy hour, imbibing liberally, and then heading out for the 4 a.m. butt-shifter should avoid this mix at all costs. It's an ode to the bridge-and-tunnel clubbers, a tribute to the Gap dancers of our world, a wink at gym-goers nationwide and a general nod to modern K-tel disco lovers. No-brainer floor-thumpers such as Kim English's "Everyday" and Etta James's "Miss You (Illicit Remix Edit)" are groovers and shakers, while Satoshi Tomiie's "Sneaky One (featuring Deanna)" and Mandalay's "Beautiful (Calderone After Hour Mix)" are sweaty 3.30 a.m. grinders. １stのサントラとは異なりノンストップmixで、より踊れる選曲となっています。
どのシーンにどの曲が遣われているか判る様に、２ndのDVDにはジュークボックスという特典が収めてあるので、このサントラに未収録の曲も簡単に探す事が可能です。Risingはよく使われていたので大好きな曲です。一度視聴してみてください。

ファーストシーズンのCDよりもスゴイ。大ヒットクラブアンサムがぎっしりつまった1枚。Absolutely Not(Deborah Cox),Everyday(Kim English),Caught Up(DJ Disciple),Beautiful(Mandalay),Hide U(Kosheen)などが入っている。もちろんオリジナルではなく、Hex Hector,Victor Claderone,Guido Osarioなど有名Remixerによるリミックスバージョン!!!

Der Original-Soundtrack zu "Queer As Folk: Second Season" erreicht nicht die Dichte und Brillanz des ersten. Es fehlen die absoluten Highlight-Songs, die man kennt oder von denen man auf neue Interpretationen wartet. "Hide U" von Kosheen ist da noch an erster Stelle zu nennen, weshalb dieser Titel auch der erste auf der CD ist. Vielleicht ist "Plenty" von Sarah McLachlan noch eine Ergänzung, der Rest ist eher mittelmäßig. Für diese CD gebe ich darum insgesamt 3 Sterne.

The tracks are good & there are three tracks that have become favourites however, I like the tracks from Season One better. There could have been more tracks rather than just 12 as there is such good music in Season Two that could have been added. Not bad for the price either & its worth having if you are a QasF US fan.
