I was prompted to write this review because I found the only other review at the time was unreasonably low. I happened upon this album a couple years after it came out and have recently rediscovered it. The album is quite enjoyable and has a lot of great lyrics and very evocative, although mostly subtle, instrumentation. The singer does seem to use a similar cadence with his voice throughout which could bother some, but I don't find it to detract from the overall experience. This is certainly a long album, and I find it best to listen to in its entirety to get the full effect. However, I think it's equally at home to listen to in the car on a nice drive regardless of how much time you have.
