Let the Snakes is hardly an album at all, but that's what makes it so essential. Each song contains only what it needs to get the emotion across and then it's all over. It might be possible to feel short changed if you don't pay attention, but spend a bit of time with it and it's tightness becomes a joy. It couldn't be more Felt if it tried and isn't 'crinkle' the most unlikely word in the world?
Absolutely classic record for the band. Little jewels as instrumental songs. It's Perfect when you're watching the sky without thinking in nothing else. Opened by "Song for Williams Harvey", it's a crunchy warmt hammond song and support the sense of the album but there's other delicious songs like "Jewel sky" that sounds cool and lounge. Five stars. Highly recomended as the rest of the Felt records.
