Nuno is one of the world's finest guitarist and I love his style; however, I don't think this release exhibits much of his guitar flash that I find in his other work. In short, if you're looking for his funky shred work on guitar, this isn't his best. It may be considered his best in other ways, I suppose.
I am an Extreme fanatic and a total Nuno-maniac, so I can't believe I'm actually going to say this, but.... Don't waste your time and money here. What a disappointment. As expensive as this is and I had to wait so long for it to be shipped all the way from Japan, I thought it would have at least one rare gem on it. Nope. Anyone who's a fan is already going to have Schizophonic, Widows, and Population 1, so you've got all the tracks that are on Best Of except for the Cheap Trick cover which is just "alright" - nothing to write home about. 5 tracks are remixes, but don't fall for it.... 2 of them are the same remixes already released on Furnished Souls For Rent. The other 3 are failed attempts at tampering with and altering perfectly good guitar work that could not have been improved upon (because it was so damn good to start with). Listening to this CD was a real let-down. I'm sorry Nuno. I love you, man. But this was such an expensive disappointment.
