いいヘッドホンがほしいと思って、探していたところソニー製品と迷ってこちらにしました。

素人が使うのにはもったいないくらいの性能だと思います。
ボーカルがすごく聞きやすくなりました。

低音から高音まで偏りがなく、低音強調で聞きたい人には向かないかもしれません。
音が突き刺さるような感じではなく、丸みがあるような聞こえ方です。

この値段にしてはお買い得だったと思います。

別段数十万もするヘッドフォンを購入する訳でもなく、取りあえず今よりもワンランクツーランク上の音で音を楽しみたいと思うなら丁度いい
出過ぎない低音、高過ぎない高音、モニタ故の余計な色付けのない音
380も聞いてみたがちょっと低音が出過ぎててこちらの方が個人的好みだった
出来れば脱着ケーブルにしてほしかった…（仕事で持ち運ぶことが多くなる為）

音の分離がとてもよい。耳コピで今まで聴き取れなかったベースの音が見事に判別できた。かといって低音が強く出ているわけではなくむしろ控えめだと感じられる。全くといっていいほど、ヘッドホンによる味付けがされないため、やはりモニタリング、レコーディングには最適なヘッドホンだと言えるであろう。

２年半使って、使い心地が非常に良い印象です。ほとんど疲れなかった印象です。
他のレビューを書かれている方のように音質は非常に良いです。
ただ、頭頂部を守るやわらかい部材がきれいに出来ていないのが好みが分かれるところかと・・・。（製品の個体差かも）

20時間ほどエイジングしてみての感想です。
オーディオテクニカのATH-PRO5MK2をずっと使っていましたが、それはそれで満足しておりました。
パリのメトロの駅の壁にゼンハイザーの広告が貼られているのを見て、やはりゼンハイザーのヘッドホンを聴いてみたい！と思い、この度初めてゼンハイザーのヘッドホンを購入しました。
HD558も考えましたが、開放型だと音漏れが当然少なからずあるだろうし、妻が漏れてくる音を非常に気にするので、密閉型のHD280proを選択しました。ATH-PRO5MK2は音漏れに関してはほぼパーフェクトでした。それに比べるとこちらは若干漏れますが、問題なしです。
肝心の音についてですが、「ゼンハイザーは自然な音がする」と聞いておりました。「自然な」というのはヤマハの「ナチュラルサウンド」のようなもやもやした野暮ったいものかも知れないと不安を抱いていましたが、まったく違います。「自然」というのは、生の楽器やスピーカーで聴いている様な状態で、通常のヘッドホンのような不自然な聞こえ方ではないということだとわかりました。立体感と奥行きがあり、3次元的なのです。しかもこれは、ヘッドホン内の振動板の位置を変えて無理をしているのではなく、振動板が普通に位置していながら立体感を生み出しているのです。
音そのものについても、どこかの帯域を強調するのではなく、すべての音域においてしっかり鳴ります。高音域は決して耳障りにならずにクリアで反応がとても良いです。中音域ものびやかで艶があり魅力的です。特筆すべきは低音域です。「自然な」というのはこの低音域で顕著です。いままで使っていたヘッドホンでは、無理矢理に鼓膜が振動させられている感じで、これはヘッドホンの宿命なのだろうと思っていましたが、この機種は違います。少し離れたところで楽器が鳴っているような感じで、圧迫感がなく、それでいてしっかり低音域が臨場感を持って聞こえてきます。
装着時の側圧を気にされる方も多いですが、これは感じ方は人それぞれでしょう。私の場合はまったく問題ありませんでした。
唯一問題があるとすれば、イヤーパッドの質です。装着感は良いのですが、耐久性に問題がありそうです。ATH-PRO5MK2のイヤーパッドは非常にしっかりとしていて申し分のない耐久性を持っています。この点を改良した製品ができれば、もうパーフェクトです。しかし、ゼンハイザーはほとんどすべてのパーツを交換可能なので、予備にイヤーパッドを買っておけば問題なしです。
本製品と出会い、私の音楽ライフが更に充実していることは、申し上げるまでもないでしょう。

全く奇をてらっていないデザインとけっして必要充分以上ではない質感、さらに着脱式でないカールコードと、一見ネガティヴ要素が目につきますが、10〜20時間エージングしたあとの音を聴いてください。有名な純然たるモニターヘッドホンより楽しい音が聴けます。低音が欲しい人はHD380の方が向いているかも知れませんが(こちらは着脱式コード)私は断然280を推します。愛用機として長く付き合うに値すると断言できますよ。

見た目は安いプラスチック感があるので、安っぽいですが、長時間使用しても疲れないし、遮音性も高く、満足できます。
ケーブルはロール式でよいですが、場合にいっては、邪魔なこともあるので、簡単に交換できる仕様にしてほしかったです。

It may cause a little discomfort for very long time usage.
The cord is fixed, it would be better if the cord could be opened separately.
The padding may get damaged by wear and tear as it is very thin coat.
It cancels most of noise while silent. A fan sound can seep in at low volume but you can’t listen to anything with average loudness while any song is being played.
Excellent for this price range.
Afterall its sennheiser.

I did a lot of research to find headphones that would deliver what I wanted. I'm fairly picky about sound and am very easily bothered if parts of the sound range are artificially boosted or otherwise out of balance. Which describes most of the common headphones that are out there these days with their amplified bass, muddy notes and uneven middles and/or upper notes.

Just as a point of comparison, I looked closely at Audio Technica because I had gotten the chance to try two of their models. The sound was a lot better than most, fairly clear and defined overall. Nice. Seemed slightly muddy though on the finer details. And somewhere in the middle range felt a little 'off' to me in ways I don't know how to describe. And parts of the sound profile sounded farther away than other parts. Subtle but it was there. So they were nice in many ways but not quite satisfying for me the longer I listened to them. Additionally, the m50s (the more popular of the two models I tried) had a noticeable amp on the bass which also wasn't quite my speed. Though that's pretty common knowledge about the m50s, so hardly a surprise.

I also seriously considered the Sennheiser HD 598 headphones. The reviews are tempting but I just can't have open-back headphones in my current living arrangements. I need at least some ability to shut out noise because of bad neighbors, etc. Even though the 280's are not noise reduction headphones, they do an amazing job of dampening outside noise without any fancy technology. Not only is my music nearly unhearable to anyone sitting in the same room with me, but noises in the room around me are partially blocked out even when I'm wearing my 280's without any sound playing in them. Something to do with how closely they fit I think, seems to automatically dampen some of the noise around me. So they fall somewhere inbetween actual "noise reduction" headphones and normal on-ear headphones which block out nothing at all. Seems to be a little more so than other over-ear headphones as well. Overall, that's been nice.

I was concerned at first about the 280's since many reviews noted they have a decent clamping fit on the head. I have had huge problems in the past with various on-ear headphones which clamp too hard against my ears and cause physical pain. I knew these were cupping around the ears instead of directly on-ear, but I was still more than a little concerned that this "clamping" might be too tight to be comfortable. Thankfully this has proved to fine. When I first put them on, there was a noticeable sense of "pressure" on the sides of my head, but not bad enough to be outright uncomfortable or anywhere close to painful. Thankfully within the first 12 hours of use, they seem to have relaxed a bit and now are plenty comfortable to wear for long hours without issue. Occasionally if I don't have them adjusted right, one of the ear pads can end up resting slightly onto of the edge of one ear, which can become uncomfortable hours later. But it's simple to adjust them on my head. Usually happens if I was in a hurry in putting them on and since they are comfortable enough I won't notice for awhile that it wasn't on quite perfectly.

As for sound, they've been pretty much exactly what I was looking for. The sound is natural, pretty much like real life. No artificial boosts or drops in parts of the range going from high to low. Sound is nicely crisp and defined, no muddy areas. Holds up when listening to a wide range of genres, from rap to classical, pop to country, acoustic to electronic. Watching movies works fine. The lack of bass boosting is more noticeable on genres that overly rely on the bass being boosted and didn't actually balance their music enough without it. So some rap, some dance, some action movies will have a little less 'umph' to them than you might expect or than they seem to have intended. I count that as a mistake on the original mixer's part though and still prefer to hear what is actually there rather than an overly beefed up version of it which a bass boosting amplified headphone would give me. Plenty of rap and dance music holds up though, so it's really down to whether or not the people who mixed it in the studio did their job correctly or if they had cut corners in the production thinking it wouldn't be noticed. I suspect if I had a portable amp to plug them into, I could get the best of both worlds for those songs and movies where production fell a little short. For me, it doesn't really bother enough to sweat it.

The sound on these headphones do feel like it comes from the room around me (even though it isn't actually) rather than the pads on my ears or inside of my head. Again, this headphones have a more natural feel to their sound than anything I've tried before. Some say "flat" but I say "real" in a way that feels more true to the sound it should be.

There is one minor and subtle thing I did notice with these: sometimes I have to fiddle the volume up or down just a slightest hair to get a song to sound at its best balance-wise. I suspect that this is where the fact that these are only a $99 pair and not something higher grade shows. Still, it really isn't bothersome, only just barely noticeable and more than acceptable for a $99 dollar set of headphones. So for a newbie audiophile, these do the job and keep me satisfied. I am sure I will eventually explore higher grade audiophile headphones at higher price points. But for now these are hands down the most satisfying I have found for around $100 with closed backs. Not for bassheads though. If you love a decent sound but still love a bit of bass amp, you should probably choose the Audio Technica m50 over these. If you like an even and more natural sound at this price point, these Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's are worth it and a solid choice. They are exactly what I was looking for and the only ones in this bracket which don't actively bother me. In fact, I can forget it's through headphones and just focus on what I'm doing instead. So just in case any of this helps anyone else who may be pouring over hundreds of reviews trying to imagine what these vs other headphones would be like, just like I was a few months ago. Cómodo, gran calidad de sonido y relación calidad precio muy bueno.
Tenía intención de comprar auriculares para mi estudio, y me decidí por estos. Después de un tiempo utilizándolos, puedo decir que no me siento decepcionado en absoluto. Aíslan el ruido completamente, se adaptan a la perfección a la oreja y a qualquiera forma de cabeza. El volumen está equalizado, no suena tan alto como otros que he tenido la oportunidad de probar. Pero no es bajo. Además la calidad de sonido es insuperable. Se escucha cada detalle de la melodia.
Tras estar una media de 3 horas con ellos seguidas, no he notado molestia alguna.

-PROS:
Gran calidad de sonido
Aislamiento correcto
Cómodos y nada cansinos
Puedes cambiar las piezas si se te rompe algo
Gran vida útil (tengo amigos que llevan con estos auriculares ya 4 años)
Cable largo y con adaptador.

-CONTRAS:
Aveces me pareció que los bajos están subidos un poco. Alomejor es cosa mía, lo he notado solo en algunas canciones.
Son unos auriculares grandes, para un estudio va perfecto, pero para escuchar música y estar moviéndote por casa cuesta.
*El volumen. Aunque la calidad de sonido y el volumen es correcto, me falta poder subirlo un poquito más. Más que nada porque me gusta la música muy alta.

I love these headphones so much. I'm not a sound engineer or anything similar but I do listen to a lot of music and the sound from these HD280's is just beautiful. They are monitoring headphones meant for the studio of course - nevertheless I like the 'neutral' sound they produce.

I have these on for hours most days and they remain very comfortable indeed - the soft cups really are almost unnoticeable after a while. I have had my pair for 6 years now and after heavy use they have aged very well (other than wearing of the headband and the cup covers - as to be expected) and they are very durable. Then again I take extra care of my stuff..

Anyhow, these headphones are fantastic value and I would highly recommend them. Just remember they are monitoring phones so if youplan to use them for music or other they might sound to neutral for some..

Ho già posseduto un esemplare di queste eccellenti cuffie e, grazie al prezzo attuale leggermente ribassato - la casa ormai non le ha più in stock - le ho riacquistate.
Ottimo prodotto, realizzato con componenti e materiali di alta qualità. Cuffie "around ear" comode da indossare con padiglioni molto morbidi, cavo spiralato robusto non separabile dal corpo del prodotto, microfono non presente, assenza di custodia da viaggio, fornito un adattatore dorato per prese jack da 6,35mm.
La qualità del suono è assoluta: non si avvertono distorsioni anche ad alto volume e la curva di risposta è decisamente piatta. Chi proviene da prodotti commerciali che debbono il proprio successo e l'alto prezzo al marketing della casa, come una nota marca di costose cuffie colorate, passando a queste avrà modo di riascoltare i propri brani preferiti scoprendo strumenti mai sentiti prima.
Chi scrive ritiene che qualunque sistema di diffusione audio (cuffie o casse acustiche) debba restituire il suono così come è stato registrato, le scelte di esaltare particolari gamme di frequenza si fanno in sala di incisione, poi la musica si ascolta come è: queste cuffie sposano pienamente questo principio.
L'eccellente isolamento acustico dei padiglioni rende queste cuffie particolarmente adatte all'ascolto riservato in ambienti rumorosi. Sono state progettate per monitoraggio professionale, ma le consiglio caldamente per ascoltare in santa pace la musica preferita anche in ambiente domestico, con i figli che schiamazzano e TV accesa ad alto volume.
L'assenza della feature "active noise cancelling" e della connettività wireless garantisce che il prodotto sia sempre pronto all'uso senza batteria scarica sul più bello e nessuna presa elettrica libera.

- utilizzo professionale: sono un prodotto di riferimento, allo stesso prezzo non c'è nulla di meglio
- uso domestico con impianto hi-fi: molto consigliate per un ascolto riservato
- uso domestico per ascolto TV: consigliate per concerti e film ad alto impatto, sprecate per qualsiasi altro programma
- utilizzo con smartphone, tablet e lettori mp3: la qualità del suono delle cuffie eccede quella degli apparecchi a cui la si collega
- utilizzo in mobilità cittadina: non adatte per l'ingombro
- utilizzo in viaggio, aereo o treno: molto adatte per la qualità di ascolto e per l'isolamento acustico; valutare l'ingombro nel bagaglio a mano
- chi ama la naturalezza e l'ampiezza del fronte sonoro deve orientarsi preferibilmente verso cuffie aperte a scapito dell'isolamento acustico
- generi musicali: tutti (vedi anche sotto)
- gaming: sono poco preparato, ma penso che il mercato offra altri prodotti più appropriati
- chi ama generi musicali da "super bassi" tipo rap e hip-hop non ama l'alta fedeltà e la naturalezza dell'ascolto e troverà maggior soddisfazione in altri prodotti spendendo meno della metà
- chi segue le mode ed esibisce in pubblico le cuffie appese al collo sa già che deve guardare altrove e spendere di più
- alternative: nella stessa fascia di prezzo Sennheiser offre ora il modello HD 380, sostanzialmente equivalente e di foggia un po' più attuale, che non ho provato; AKG, Beyer Dynamic e Audio Technica offrono valide alternative.
