As 1/3 of the groundbreaking act Underworld, Darren Emerson has been instrumental in the international rise and development of the electronic dance music genre. Anyone with a passing interest in dance music knows the Underworld story.
In the four years since Darren has departed from Underworld, he has branched out, DJing around the world, including residencies at Londons The End and Pacha in Ibiza, and focused on his own productions and remix work as well as spent time developing his own label, Underwater Records, signing artists such as Gus Gus, and Tim Deluxe.
Paul Jackson is one of Darrens more recent signings to Underwater and since joining the label in 2002, has broken out with two singles, one being the huge "The Push" which was named Essential New Tune as an instrumental and was later updated with the vocals of Dirty Vegas Steve Smith in mid-2003. Pauls debut artist album for Underwater is set for release in Fall 2004.
