メジャー、インディー問わず1stから日本盤が出ているますが、中古に関してアマゾンでは輸入盤も日本盤のカテゴリーで扱われているので、訳詞が読みたい方は訳詞付きの日本盤か確認してからの購入をお勧めします。

クリスチャンバンドとして、歌詞はバンドで書くのが原則だったのが、ジョンに一任されたのが今までとの大きな違いかと思います。

演奏についても、スミス期のジョニー・マーに匹敵する、複雑だけどヴォーカルメロディーに絡みつく2本のギターのアンサンブルが素晴らしいです。

個人的には各アルバムをジョンのヴォーカルで聴け、勢いの増した演奏のライブ盤（Final Curtain）が一番好きなのですが、単独のスタジオ盤ではあえてこのアルバムを一押しします。

惜しくも解散してしまったSENSE FIELDのヴォーカル、ジョン・バンチ
を迎えての新作。
多方面のレビューを見ると、SENSE FIELDそのまま、と評価して
いる方もいるようですが、これはSENSE FIELDとはまったくの別物です。
ジョンも意識をしてか、唄い方も変えているようです。特にSENSEFIELD
時代にはファルセットを駆使して歌っていたのに対し、現在は直線的に
、というかハードに歌い上げています。
音的にもFurther Seems Foreverの方が力強い感じでしょうか・・・
両者をエモというジャンルにカテゴライズするなら、SENSE FIELDと
Further Seems Foreverは対極に位置していると思います。
アルバム一枚で30分に満たないですが、とても満足できます。
力強くも美しい音楽を聴きたい方にお勧めします。

なにか生命を感じる音楽だとおもいます。なにかが奥底からうねりあがってくるような音で、何故か深海なのに明るい光を全身に浴びて浮遊している気分になります。曲構成は複雑なのに、メロディはループする感じで独特のグルーヴがあって、歌声がまた力を持ってます。素晴らしい世界観だとおもいます。

しかし、このアルバムを聴きたくなる気分というのが限られてしまう感じがします。いつどこでも聴きたくなる音楽ではありません。悲しいときや寂しいときに元気を分け与えてくれるアルバムだとおもいます。そんなときに寝ながら聴くとイイ涙を流せるかもしれません。

sense fieldのjon bunchをVo.に迎えた新作。やはり彼のボーカル力はすばらしい。EMOファンはもちろん、ポストロック・へヴィ・アバンギャルド等もいいが、たまにピュアな歌物を聴きたくなった方にオススメ。お楽しみください。

I needed some new music for my steadily-growing library of cds. I'm a bit picky when it comes to my Christian music. It's all I buy, but I don't listen to and buy what I kind of like, I buy and lend my ears to what I know is good.

Good music has the power to energize me, and haunts me into mind-boggling thoughts and revelations, while soothing me to sleep like a warm blanket. It settles me down, invites me up. I want an emotional rollercoaster, not just something to bob along to in the car.

When I searched desperately for my fix on a Christian music website, by genre and then by alphabetical order, I came across this familiar band called Further Seems Forever. I didn't know why they were so familiar, but they were spoken so highly of in the cd review that I searched for the first song on the cd Youtube.

As I listened, I was drawn in to a world of calming variety, of chilling intensity and heart. Soon I came across what was familiar- a song I had written down lyrics to long ago that was featured on the radio. I had hoped to find out who the song was by, but had forgotten to do so over the years.

"Take my soul I... break my heart I... am ready when you are". The song, which I recommend if you want a good portrayal of the cd, is "Like Someone You Know".

I listened to all of the songs and halfway through I ordered the album. I could tell how good the cd was, how much talent and diversity was in the music.

In today's Christian music industry- in the music industry as a whole- originality is scarce, and syndicated pop is blasted from speakers with the intention of making fans and fun- not changing lives, not making their own name but following the legacy of others. This is a familiar legacy that Further Seems Forever offers, but in the most touching, sentimental, chilling way. If this appeals to you, look up the songs. Buy the cd, the physical copy- the art on the lyric packet is amazing by the way, and I hate to see the digitalization of such beauty disappear.

Give the album a chance. I don't think you'll regret it.

In spite of two changes from lead singers, this band consistently rocked it throughout their career! This album is no different! John Bunch’s vocals Fit great with the band, and I think this is one of the most underrated album that they did.

This album is amazing. I really did not like FSF at all until I heard this record. For those who don't know, the singer on this album is the singer from SENSE FIELD, another awesome band. If you like this album or atleast the vocals on this album, check out SENSE FIELD. This record was like getting another taste of what John offered in all his previous endevours. I'm stoked on this cd.

Fun, catchy album. I like the lead singer's voice. "How to start a fire" is still my favorite album, but this album comes in a close 2nd.
