Only downside about Rock goes for the non-speaking French people, we might know the story, even what some of the lyrics are translated, but it probably sounds a lot better when in french. Apart from that minor complaint, Rock is about as good as Pleymo gets, and by far my favorite. Though Pleymo might disappoint some fans considering their drastic change of phase, it doesn't rule out the Pleymo formula really. To me it's just a whole lot more mature, and varied. Each song feels different and thus while adding more to the plate, it also makes you think Pleymo really want to say something different as well.
I'm not gonna be one of those people who suggests you'll listen to it all in one take start to finish. but seriously don't judge the book by its cover (even though the front cover is pretty cool), what i mean is there might be some elements to the song further in you haven't explored, and if the song haven't grabbed your attention by the first 30 seconds or so you shouldn't push "next". For instance, the final track "Laugh Calvin" enters some of the best vocals Mark has ever done in his entire career in Pleymo.
Or the "la lala la la lala" section at the end of "Zorro" too, it adds just that little thing that makes a song go from good to even better.
