My father bought this album after it's initial release on Reprise Records in 1970 and I remember well listening to this over and over. This particular release on 180g vinyl is excellent and brings back many pleasant memories for me. Ananda's playing transports you into another world and leaves ave you wanting more!!

a mi-chemin entre l'electro-pop et la musique classique indienne,ce disque deja tres ancien nous ramene aux courants des annees 70 aux beatles et surtout georges harisson pour les sonorites indiennes.Il es t vrai que le neveu de ravi shankar a une solide formation classique.On peut apprecier comment le sitar et les tablas se repondent,surtout dans les 3 derniers morceaux.A noter la participation des musiciens du state of bengal qui donnent une sonorite plus moderne,j'avais bien aime leur album"tana tani"mais depuis;;;plus rien.
En tout cas un album tres agreable.
