Not going to lie, I was a bit worried about my purchase due to Burst Angel being an older and not so popular anime. Needless to say not only did my package arrive early but everything was neatly packaged and in pristine condition. The display box the figure came in was wrapped in bubble wrap and covered in Japanese newspaper which protected it from shipping mishandling.

While browsing this figure online, most pictures showed the figure’s skin to have this unnerving yellow color to it but in person Jo’s skin is very much skin tone which was a great relief. My guess is people turned up the saturation because the colors overall are dark; her signature white hair is a dark grey color on the figure. I personally like the pallete chosen.

The detail on this is ridiculous! Everything is shaded and painted with precision, the jacket even having silver for the zipper running all the way along the edges! The only thing that was missing where the red markings on her gun’s, but the desert eagles look amazing even without it.

The sculpt is wonderful and high quality, pictures don’t do the justice of physically seeing it on display.

The figure itself is sturdy and fit onto the base just fine, the scarf and jacket are more rubbery in texture and are removable, to do so you just pop the head on and off. How you display Jo is completely up to you.

I am thoroughly pleased and overjoyed with this purchase, and as a long standing fan of the show it’s nice to finally acquire some merchandise after all these years.

This is an amazing figure! Burst Angel is a show that perhaps deserves more attention than it gets, and this figure is a tremendous way to do that. The paint isn't as bright as the colors in the show, as Jo's bright red outfit is more of a dark red in the figure, but it still looks amazing. Her jacket and scarf are removable, so you can display her in several different ways (see for some reason sideways pictures). The paint job is perfect and there are no blemishes that I can see.

This figure is well worth the money and a perfect addition to any collection and shows your appreciation of a nice, old school show!
