I don't disagree with the majority of people in support of this CD. I have friends who cite 'FISH OUT OF WATER' as evidence that Squire was never good enough to be a lead singer in his own right, a moot point if ever there was one, but here he is really only required to provide the usual Yes-type harmonies, something he always does with great style. Lovely melodies and virtuoso playing by all involved make this a Prog lover's dream disc, one which I will be playing ad nauseam. Just one disappointment: the booklet is all over the place with lyrics flitting about all over the shop. Surely this was a straightforward task that someone should have been charged with?
Cuando Chris Squire se embarcó en este proyecto muchos nos temimos un nuevo producto AOR sin mayor pretensión y fácilmente olvidable. Craso error. Esta grabación es un original empuje al rock progresivo, que nos recuerda el fish out of water del referido músico. Gran carisma para la voz de Steve Nardelli, alma mater verdadero del grupo

I'll buy most albums that have Chris Squire on them, even Heaven and Earth the new Yes album that stinks, but Syndestructible is in a league of its own. It is a prog rock masterpiece by far the best thing Squire has been involved with in the last 20 years. This album was released in 2006 and how I would have loved this line-up to have followed it up with another studio album, that's not to say Armistice Day with Alan White on drums wasn't excellent, but it was little more than a live recording of Syndestructilble.
