I was looking for another specific cd when I ran across this and laughed my arse off! I bought it because the samples were so funny! The cd is better than I could have hoped for by the title alone. While the singing may be drunken sounding- they are singing about cats after all- it is still fun to listen to when you need a good laugh. Trying to stay stoic on the serious sounding songs with the kitty cat lyrics will make you crack a smile whether you want to or not!

Das ist mal was anderes. Wir waren an St. Patrick's Day in Irland und haben tüchtig mitgefeiert und mitgesungen. Hier sind alle diese populairen Irish Songs auf Katzenlieder umgestimmt. Habe nicht Katzenjammer gemeint. Ein Leckerbissen für Katzenfreunde und natürlich Freunde von Irischen Folksongs.

I subscribe to Marc Gunn's podcasts, and had heard one or two of the songs from this CD. I am a cat lover, I love good folk music, and I enjoy musical parody. This delightful CD fits all of those things.

It won't be for everyone, but if you have a cat/love cats and enjoy silly songs, you will enjoy this one.

I got this as a gift for my wife. She is Irish and a cat lover. She enjoys her traditional Irish pub songs. The previews on here sounded good so I got this for her. Upon actually listening to the cd, it was very cringeworthy. It sounds more like songs for children than anything. The constant sound of cats meowing is a huge distraction.
