７５年発売の２ｎｄアルバム　収録曲１２曲の半分がカバー曲で前作のヒットにより仕事が忙しくなっており、アルバム製作にあたって新曲を作る暇が無かったというのが真相の様で、残りのオリジナル曲も'AＧＯＩＮＧ　ＢＡＣＫ　ＨＯＭＥは師匠のＭＩＣＫ　ＧＲＥＥＮ（ＰＩＲＡＴＥＳ）との共作、'IＢＥＣＡＵＳＥ　ＹＯＵＲ　ＭＩＮＥはＮＩＣＫ　ＬＯＷＥとメンバーのＪＯＨＮ　Ｂ　ＳＰＡＲＫＳとの共作で作った曲で純粋にＷＩＬＫＯ　ＪＯＨＮＳＯＮのオリジナル曲は数曲にとどまっています、が僕達が聴きたいのはＷＩＬＫＯ　ＪＯＨＮＳＯＮの鋭いギターカッティングにある訳で、それがオリジナルだろうがカバーだろうが全く違和感無く聴けるのがよい所だと思います、Ｄｒ　ＦＥＥＬＧＯＯＤを初めて聴くなら１ｓｔをお勧めしますが、１ｓｔの次は是非この２ｎｄをお勧めしますが、聞き込むうちに１ｓｔよりも好きになること間違い無しで、初期のアルバム（ＷＩＬＫＯ　在籍時代）の３枚のアルバムの中で一番好きなアルバムです

ファーストより渋さが増してます。落ち着きが出たとも感じますね。
しかし、本当にすばらしいバンドです。ブリローのダミ声ボーカル、ウィルコのギターばかりが取り沙汰されますが、リズム隊のジョンB、ビッグ・フィギュアのタイトな演奏も堪らない。より沢山の人に聴いてほしいですね。

個人的には名盤の１stより全然好きだ。特にギター弾きなら分かると思うがウィルコのギターが気持ち良い。細かい事は言えないから聴くしかないんじゃないかな！？ちなみにこの方、ピック使わず素手カッティングです。こんな音するんだね〜。

what can I say - Dr Feelgood is my favourite band and I bought this in 1976 when it came out on vinyl. Unfortunately it was nicked so I bought the CD. Delighted to have the album again - but still gutted about my vinyl copy. I loved the first album (Down by the Jetty) but I thought this second album was even better - absolutely LOVE 'Going Back Home' and that intro riff on 'Rollin' and Tumblin' ...

This band bowled me over with their sound and attitude, gritty R&B like this is just not around anymore. Dr. Feelgood predated the punk years, and although they probably do not get enough credit for it, they must have influenced the playing styles of many punk bands. Wilko Johnson's driving guitar style is enough to make one think how seriously underrated this band is, and it stuns me that they never found an audience in the United States. Their covers of Bo Diddley's "I Can Tell" and Muddy Waters' "Rolling and Tumbling" on this album not only do justice to their R&B roots, but bring such an energy to the songs that the band made these classics their own. Vocalist Lee Brilleaux was one of a kind; his raspy singing voice was amazing, as was his harmonica playing and stage presence. "Malpractice" and the majority of Dr. Feelgood's classic albums were unavailable on CD for many years (or were never released on CD at all), so I am REALLY glad to see their music becoming more readily available. I also have to comment that the sound quality is excellent. You can't go wrong starting your Dr. Feelgood collection with this classic album. However, I would not recommend listening to this album while driving unless you want a speeding ticket, that's the effect this music has on the listener!

Absolute cracking R&B meets 70's pub rock scene. Sharp as a knife. Like a whip across the music scene at the time. Just exceptionally influential. The guitar sound alone is New Wave just there. Brilliant.

Great grooves, great riffs, virtuoso playing - this album has it all. If you're even remotely a fan of driving, blues-based, R&B inspired rock 'n' roll played by a group of great musicians then you have to get this album. The music is energetic, played with passion and integrity, and makes you long for the days when music could inspire, astonish and amaze.
The cover versions are played with devotion, and the original material burns with intensity. Every track is sheer perfection, with the possible exception of Riot In Cell Block #9, which I have to admit I often end up skipping over. If you haven't listened to this album you don't know what you're missing. Do yourself a favor and pick it up right now.
