I stopped reading books after graduating from college. Somebody suggested that this book is worth reading. I bought a few books that I believe to answer the questions in my mind. So, I started with this one. I should have found this book long time ago 😊. The content is quite interesting. I just started reading and got some ideas that helped me at work yesterday.
My choice was between a thriller and this book. I am glad I chose this one. Satisfying read.

読んでいる間、高畑勲監督の、「かぐや姫」の様な映像が、頭に浮かんでいました。ですので、ああいう絵のタッチや雰囲気で、原作に忠実な、淡々とした感じのアニメを見てみたいなぁ、と思いました。

初出1942年、夫婦善哉1940年の2年後発表したスピンオフ作品。柳吉、蝶子も出てくる。裏目裏目に出てしまい、読んでいてジリジリしてしまうが、そんな不器用にしか人生に立ち向かうことができない人達への、織田作之助の視線は優しく、人生はそんなものと受容した生き方が清々しい。

I'm not a reader however, that all changed when I picked up this book.
I read it in 2 days, which is unusual for me.
There isn't a single page that I wouldn't re-read. Will now be a future gift to those that I love.
AMAZING book that everyone should read. Highly recommend reading this book.

I would highly recommend every one read this book, no matter your age, or station in life
It's a book I couldn't put down, but I didn't want to end; I truly loved every word.
I loved this book! I read through it pretty quickly the first time. This book has everything - great writing, realistic characters, a non stop story line with plenty of twists and turns and a satisfying ending.

After many years of buy books to add to my tool box, this book is one, if not the most actionable books I’ve ever had. I’m 100 pages in and already applying what I’m learning. I wish this book existed years ago.
Brilliant book. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the best thing I read this year.

I will go back and write a more exhaustive review in a better format.
If you are in good mood read it anyway, it is a very good book and it will keep you glued to the pages.
Different books appeal to different people and the same person will enjoy different kind of book depending on her/his current mood. This book was exactly what I needed at this moment.
I might have just finished my favorite read of 2018. This will be hard to top. My recommendation couldn't be any higher -- and sometimes it is just enough to say "read this book -- don't hesitate."

I gave this book five stars because it was a thoroughly enjoyable read. I have never been disappointed by this author's books. Unfortunately, now I have to wait for the next one.
It's one of those books where you can start at the beginning middle or end and enjoy it every time. I bought a few copies as gifts for my kids' history teacher, math teacher, and language teacher. Also, a gift for my uncle and for one of my friends. Recommended.
