内容紹介
These three French cantatas were composed between 1706 and 1714 by Jean-Baptiste Stuck (1680-1755), also know as Batistin. This is currently the only available recording of music by this long-neglected French Baroque composer.
Stuck came to Paris around 1705 and was for a long time well known as an opera composer. He was also one of the first cellists to make it popular as a solo instrument. Many contemporaries considered his cantatas to be models of the genre. An editor of the time wrote that, "his cantatas brought him infinite honor."
