premier album de Manchester orchestra, malheureusement pas connus en Europe, excellente musique, pop, rock, innovant et agréable, recherche instrumentale avancée
I heard "Wolves at Night" on XM and bought this CD purely on the strength of that song (and after listening to only three other samples on Amazon). 25 plays later and I still can't get enough of it (my partner is threatening divorce). A close second favorite is "I Can Barely Breathe," and I'm sure more will join that category after a few more listens. The comparison to Conor Oberst above is spot on: Andy Hull has his quiet introspection, along with the plaintive angst of Robert Smith, mixed with occasional angry, blaring synth riffs that are downright addictive. This won't be leaving my playlist for a long time to come.
